Bluegrass state? I didn't know Colorado changed their nickname. :lmao:

Welcome Todd! We won't hold it against you that you are from Kentucky. We have a couple of members from there and they are more or less OK.

Other than the surprise, what are your highlights for the trip?

Is this where I introduce myself?

So Todd, does It's complicated pay well?

Welcome. Dues are payable in dole whips, bacon, beer, or cake. You mail 780+ portions to me, and then I mail to all the other dads.

I'm from Owensboro, which many people in KY don't even know where it is located, and happy to see another Kentuckian here. I think we are up to 4 now. After a few more, I won't be able to count that high. Have a great trip.

Afternoon on my 60 day mark. Is it just me or are FP+ for DHS a complete pain :furious: The pick only 1 from RnR, ToT, B&TB, TSM & Fantasmic seems whacko considering the other parks have nowhere near the restrictions. Thanks for the vent as regardless, booking FP is better than a day not booking FP.

Good Evening Guys!!

No more morning updates, we packed up and left this morning.
Our last day at Disney was pretty busy, I booked a breakfast at Ohanas and it was very good. It was an 8 am resisie so we started our day early. We went to Epcot with the Monorail in the AM to hit a couple of rides and some stuff in the World Showcase. We also were the first people to ride the Mexico ride, yay! Lol we got our own boat.

We then went to the MK we ran around and jumped on a bunch of rides and then watched wishes, we always close out our vacation this way.
Well guys thanks for reading, looks like I am back to normal life on Thursday. Restaurant will be open again!
Thanks for the updates and pics, much appreciated and safe travels the rest of the way home.
Very rough start to the trip. My daughter and I are both nervous fliers. I have learned to deal with it. DD however has not. Puked on both sides of the security check point and on the plane. Not sick but just really nervous. Anyway she's good now but this may put a kink in our F&W plans.
Sorry to hear and glad to see the great recovery - proximity to WDW will do that

-"It's Complicated"...well, I wish it paid better. Actually, it just refers to the fact that I have a 40-hour/week office job, but I'm also the pastor of a small new church. Really not that complicated now that I've typed it out.

-Owensboro is my "second hometown", since both sets of grandparents lived there my entire childhood/adolescence. Went there about once a month or so as a kid, all the way up through my 20's(when all of them passed). Still miss trips to Moonlite(although we all know that Old Hickory has better mutton).

-Looking forward to most on this upcoming trip? Hmmm....1)Surprising the girls. Never done that before. 2)Meals at almost all-new places(for us). 3)First trip where it's just the four of us. Taking grandparents is great, but it will be nice to do our own thing the entire time.

Thanks for the warm welcome, fellas.

Not many. One of the big things is women get very elaborate upper body paint. I was at Soppy Joe's and this woman asked if I would mind if she took my bar stool for a bit. She was complaining that it took over an hour to be painted. In her case it was time well spent, others, not so much.
.

What's that rule? Pictures!!!!!

I'm sure we could grow it better. Unfortunately, our politicians are too stupid and don't see how there would be any revenue from growing cannibis. After, every surrounding state legalizes pot, only then will KY legalize it - kinda like the lottery. Visionaries.

Welcome Todd! We won't hold it against you that you are from Kentucky. We have a couple of members from there and they are more or less OK.
?

Careful. There's another potential front yard camper. Especially after your discussion of FantasyFest.

Have to agree with you that BBQ at Hickory is better than Moonlite. But, for a buffet spread, Moonlite can't be beat. I have shipped some Moonlite BBQ to some of the guys on here. Mutton seems to be the least preferred.

Welcome aboard Todd! Even though Norm is also from Kentucky, we'll try and let you make your own impression.:thumbsup2

I'll do my best. In the meantime, I'm googling ways to lose 50 pounds in 10 days. These rider reports from 7DMT are freaking me out.

You guys have almost caught up to us Canucks.

Home from tennis Ownage. Royals down by a run. Too bad. Bumgarner warming up, so it should be game over.

I am not happy with the FP+ or the MB. I just don't like wearing them. On our last trip, the CM said WDW is beta testing them for scans so that we still wouldn't have to carry all the other forms of ID. Even then, I still don't like wearing them. As for FP+ tier system, it is nice to have some rides pre-planned out, but I agree that I don't like the limited choices. With the legacy FP system, I could get FPs for the rides I wanted. Now, I'm getting FPs for the ones that I wouldn't mind to ride, but really wouldn't care either way.

Well, that is so nice of you. Where is that Eagles trophy case picture when I need it. :furious:

I fit in the ride. If I fit, then you'll fit. It was a little tighter than other of the WDW rides. I still have the other three mountains rated better than it.

It's a great way to start! Set the bar low and it can only get better! :thumbsup2

I don't like where this is going. It's like a coup is starting up amongst the Kentuckians. OK b\c of the pastor occupation (alleged) I'm going to relax my judgements! :lmao:
