Thursday Morning Ownage!

One more week. Can't go by fast enough. I'm finding that the more people I have to tell about the surprise trip....teachers, coaches, family......the less likely it is that the surprise will be pulled off. So far so good. We made plans for departure day locally and DD has invited a few girls to her birthday party that is actually going to be a week later. I told the moms the date was wrong and why so hopefully everything is in place.

Kudos to you. I would LOVE to surprise my kids but there is no way I could keep the secret myself!

I'll have to get the dds out of the house and away from DW today.

In the grand scheme of things you are absolutely right, But given all of the forum reading, podcasts and blogs, I feel like there should be more of a plan around the all of the tips, tricks and hints. I feel like I've studied for the final exam but am going to show up and forget everything. Then after the test, it's like, "Oh, now I remember that!"
Sometimes simple works.

Ever since we joined DVC, my planning deceased. Since I knew I would be visiting WDW for the next 30 years, I didn't worry about forgetting stuff. I figured I would just get to it the next trip.

Mornin Dads, wishing all a great weekend. Heading out to Vegas today for a couple of days of R&R with DW before the business stuff kicks in Monday morning. Getting a bit tired of flying lately but at least I get some fun on this trip.

The week is over for me. Unfortunately, DW has pneumonia and I have to have the dds at two different locations and the same time. I'll be breaking the space time continuum tonite.

Sorry about DW, hope she gets better soon.

I second. Jeter has always been a class act and watching the end of that game last night gave me goose bumps. That was so cool the way he ended his last game at Yankee stadium.

Do not request near DTD or pools, that's what I requested!!!!! Haha, you will be checking in before we do anyways.

Congress Park - DTD/ Water view
Springs - Near pool or Near Bus stop or Near Artist Pallate
Paddock - Near Pool
Grandstand - Near Pool

Avoid the Carousel. Fight them to not put you there.

I like CP, especially if you can get that DTD view, even with the construction. Water, restaurants, and boats are cool. If you don't get that view, you still have a private pool and awesome rocking chairs that overlook that area.

Springs has a feature pool as well as the food and boat launch to DTD.

Paddock has another feature pool and great views.

Grandstand is first off bus stop, but is furthest away.

Carousel has nothing, not even a working Carousel. Hope to see you next Saturday or Sunday.

FIL gave me a new weed eater. Since we've had no rain all week, I cut 5 years of dirt and grass off the sidewalk in front of the house. Who's the best neighbor on the block? I can't see your hand thru the dust bowl.

And what a way to end it. May not have been a home run, but a walk off hit. I wouldn't hit the remainder of the season. Wouldn't it be great to know your last at bat was the game winner!

Thanks. The asthma doctor doesn't think she had pneumonia, but that it was her asthma that was so inflamed. Her lung capacity was at 35%. After a breathing treatment, it is back at 75%.

Evening, men. Low key evening for me. Tree guys topping by at 7PM for some estimates. Bonus part was getting me out of having to hang with the family women folks who are celebrating 3 months worth of birthdays.

Not quite the BAM moment yet, but we got our Magical Express tickets in the mail today.

Tomorrow are 2 soccer games, both at 9am, then going to be working some crafty stuff for the Disney trip an maybe do a bonfire in the evening. The Sunday is a little tailgating and the Steelers-TB Bucs game at 1:00 PM.
