Well, I was planning a lobster roll for lunch Tuesday 12:00 before we go. I'll bring my sandwich into the bar with you. Or, we could do ESPN club for lunch. They have Yuengling draft by the pitcher.

That could work. We can figure it out as we get closer.

Nah, he was too busy sharpening the box of training-shivs I gave him as a present.

Payback, as they say, is a %*^#@... ;)

I have a few years before I need to worry about it. You on the other hand...

I got sick on greek wine once in high school and it took me a couple of decades before I would touch it again, but I have found I like some of them now. Always planning on making mead if I ever get enough honey off the hives.

The odd glass of red is okay, we are talking 1-2 a year tops. Never been sick on alcohol. But this is likely why greek wines don't fly off the shelf.

Okay that is beyond idiotic...

Morning fellas.

Trying to get back into the swing of things with school. Not going well so far. The kids have already had several meltdowns as they have forgotten to bring homework assignments home and had to scramble to finish them at school the next day. Naturally, I had a long talk with them about writing things down and being responsible.

Then, this morning, I forgot to bring papers with me I needed for a meeting. :headache:

I anticipate a lot of this next week...

...and I'm back.
2 weeks on the road
3611 miles
18 States and 1 Canadian Province
5 DisDad Meets (Brian, Brent, Tim, Chris and Mark)
2 Hall of Fames - Baseball and Football. Drove by the Basketball one 3 times and never had the urge to stop. :rotfl2:
14 GB of pictures and a couple hours of movies.

Thankfully I'm back at work so I can get some rest!

Now that's a road trip! Welcome back

Coming from the guy with his own football team, I'll gladly accept your word!
:lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

Well done and glad you are back safe & sound :thumbsup2

In case anyone was wondering, Mondays are a lot better when you spend them at WDW.:thumbsup2

Hope all are well. Have a few minutes to post while the family is getting changed and ready to head out for the evening. I'll try to post some pics soon, but haven't taken too many. It's been low to mid 90's every day with heat indexes approaching 120. I have a new appreciation for air conditioning.

Villians Unleashed was a pretty cool party. Almost every villain you can think of was there. Lines were pretty long though. We got pics with Darth Maul, Stormtroopers, Jango, Greedo and a few of the others. Lines too long to see any others. Got some villains night pins, but all other stuff was sold out. The line at 8PM was over 2 hours long and we were told only pins would be left if we waited so I just went back at the end of the night to grab them so we didn't waste the party time. Only 1 place selling Villains stuff:eek:. I think they missed out on a lot of $$ as they sent hundred away with nothing.

A couple more days. I'll send an update if/when I can.

Urgh. Internet provider had a state wide outage that started the same minute I called. *took them 45 minutes to finally answer and by the time they did it was confirmed outage. Was down for over 4 hours before I went to bed.

Child found my hidden cache of pudding cups yesterday. He keeps taking them and hiding one at a time when I tell him he can't have one. Grr

Forgot to discuss dining with soon to be father in law so still have no idea where we will be eating while on trip. Just heard back that they cannot get a dining plan for us.

I think that was the last of what's happened recently. I keep forgetting to post when I read through

Greetings from the surface of the sun. MK has to be 99 degrees today. If Ellen ' Energy adventure was here, I'd ride it over and over again.
CoP or HOP would be 2 good places to cool off and nap…. :faint:

And sometimes, in the MK, you can spice them up yourself...

Ooooooooh, I'm telling!

If I could multiquote I would but I don't know how on my phone. But yes a beer would be awesome. Never before have I wanted one of those or a frozen Mexican beverage so much. Sitting by Stormalong Bay (in the shade) with a drink in my hand would be great. Unfortunately alcohol is out all month as well. Norm! Get in off that ledge! This is me we're talking about not you! Instead of alcohol I get yummy protein shakes and a sensible dinner off of an unbelievably restrictive menu. But because I have had stomach issues for almost 2 years my wife is making me do this. Deep down I'm grateful but man I'd love some nachos.
Really? No, seriously, really? :rolleyes2

You've been playing a lot of tennis lately.

WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH OUR NORM?!?
:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Randall, Oh mighty keeper of the DIS keys, please add the Nicely * to the front page for a trip 5/9-5/15 at Kidani. Thank you!
Very nice! Have fun!!!

Hey guys. Got back from a long weekend in NYC with the wife. Spent Fri in and around times square, and had a wedding on long island yesterday. Good times. Got home early this morning to celebrate my little guy turning 3. Had a great day.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.
I didn't realize our boys were weeks apart. Is PJ right out of his mind like Christopher? :rotfl2:

Sounds about right. Disney really stinks when it comes to this. :furious:

Back in the day, SWMBO and her parents would go do Space Mt or something while I took one, or eventually two, little ones on the TTA People Mover. Most of the operators were good with just waving me on for another round while the kids nodded off.

Yes. Completely... :rotfl2:

Makes him a wild card with those shivs I got him though... :thumbsup2

Back from tennis - 6:30 to 9:00. Won 2/3 sets and sweated thru two shirts. Are there any nemesis looking for a special present? I can mail one of my sweated through t-shirts to someone. Talk about domestic terrorism - a stink bomb for sure. :laundy: :lmao:

We've road around on Figment a few times. I wouldn't think the best for sleeping, but it knocked dds out.

That could work. We can figure it out as we get closer.

Sounds good. I'll pm you my info.

Poor Disney. So sad when they don't make money. :crazy2: :faint: :badpc:

They'll add some more places next year. Or, that may just be using that as a method of crowd control.

If you ever need me to fly to Florida to drink bourbon with you, then just send me a flight ticket. :lmao:
I'm sure CJ wouldn't notice one more thing on his credit card. :lmao::rotfl2:

There should be a story that goes with this.
There's several. :lmao:

No final totals yet but we think about $6000 was raised yesterday afternoon. Add that to the golf tournament that donates to our charity every year and it looks like about $15,000 for the two events. :thumbsup2
Bravo!

Happens to me more often than I care to admit!

I know you guys are enjoying these times. But, trust an "old" guy when I say take in every minute, enjoy all the running around, don't let any of the sport nut parents ruin anything for you and ENJOY the heck out of this time in your lives :thumbsup2
Duly noted. I will certainly keep that in mind.

This looks like something that should be printed on the back of a tee shirt.

Jealous! But happy for you\your family. Was reading some very mixed reviews on the Villains party.

Top of the morning fellas! I have to take one of the DD's to the orthodontics this morning to see if her braces will be put on yet. We have been "turning" the device that was installed in her mouth for two weeks. She keeps asking why straight teeth are important?

On a side note, I bought a used copy of Mariocart. What a great family game. I just need to get two more controllers so that we have four. DW told the kids to move over, she was gaming before they were born, lol

Good morning. Hoping to get some free time today to catch up on my Disboard reading.

I found out over the past few days that I might be getting appointed to a committee that will involve going to Orlando in 2016 for a meeting. DW has been talking to grandparents about seeing if DS can stay with them since he'll be in school when I have to go. She doesn't know if we should take DD since DS won't be going and she's not even sure if she'll go. Is it wrong of me to actually kind of want it to be a solo trip? I feel kind of guilty for it... but that would be pretty awesome. :thumbsup2

Morning all. A nice quiet week at the office. I did learn that one of the head him honchos is in town for a political thing Wed PM/Thurs AM. I can't wear jeans and tshirts the rest if the week.

Props for the continued effort with the exercise. Keep up the good work!:cheer2:

Thanks.

, lol

My oldest had that expander thing we had to turn every so often. After that, another device to maintain the space. Braces to follow this fall or Spring.

If you feel that guilty, then you can send me in your place. :lmao:

I'll never have that opportunity, so it's easier to say. The guilt thing for me would be in spending the money/using DVC points without my family. But, if work paid the travel, lodging, and food expenses, then I don't think I would feel as guilty in adding on the tickets.

‘Morning all…
Imagine my surprise when I had to stop what I was doing at work and actually spend all day working.
I’ll have to see if I can keep that from happening again today.

If you aren’t beat after an adventure… you haven’t been on an adventure.
I’m pretty sure that one qualifies. Great pictures on FB. Don’t know that you have the time anymore to look after a TR, but I for one would love to read about it.

Top O the Mornin Dads. Looks like the procedure to wipe out these big kidney stones went well. Find out on Friday follow-up if all done and that all are now passable.

Good to hear. May you finally be done with all that nonsense.

In case anyone was wondering, Mondays are a lot better when you spend them at WDW.:thumbsup2

No… I had a good idea that was true, but thanks for confirming my suspicions.
Enjoy the rest of the time at Da’ World and remember that Dole Whips and Grand Marnier slushies’ are also good devises for fending off the heat.

Child found my hidden cache of pudding cups yesterday. He keeps taking them and hiding one at a time when I tell him he can't have one. Grr

That young’en already has the makings of either an investment banker of a politician.
You’ll have to keep a sharp eye on the kid for now, but with instincts like that, that one should go far once unleashed on the adult world.

I've been driving by the BB hall of fame for 36 years and I've never stopped! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

:rotfl:
I’ve only been able to drive by and ignore the NASCAR Hall of Fame for four years now, but I intent to match your record if I can.

Some of the bad ideas are mighty impressive.

I don’t disagree. But while a bad idea might well get the job done and one may not actually suffer harm attempting said questionable act…
surviving it, don’t necessarily make you smart.
usually it just means you’re bloody dang lucky. :rotfl2:

It ain’t wrong to think about it…
So long as when you do it you feel just a little bit bad right before the fifteenth launch on the RnRRC.
Do remember to drown out that guilt with a couple of Dole Whips though.
