Good Morning guys, I've been up early this morning making a few reservations for the DL Star Wars 1/2 trip and prepping Christmas decorations.

Reserved Anna and Elsa's Boutique for a Frozen makeover for DD and Blue Bayou lunch. The plan right now is to do QS Breakfast and Flo's V8 Cafe for dinner.

Tomorrow, I am booking Ariel's Grotto for a birthday lunch with Sean M. and his DD.

Should be an awesome trip! And Congrats to Sean and DD for finishing the Avengers 5K yesterday!!! Great pics in Facebook.

Date night with the wife tonight. Going to the Melting Pot to celebrate our finishing the Wine & Dine Splash N Soak Race last weekend. I just showered and put on a nice polo and brand new jeans and she says, "you're wearing THAT?"

Congrats on W&D!! Hopefully the weather trend doesn't continue with WDW marathon and Star Wars. The rain for W&D and the wind for Avengers didn't look to fun.

Been a relaxing day. Both dds went to CCD this AM and we will have Mass tonite. The dds and neighbor kids are still enjoying the leaf pile in front of the house. Enjoyed the Seahawks at Chiefs game. Forecast has changed to 3-5 inches of snow tonite into tomorrow. Stay warm and drive safe.

We are suppose to get hit with snow tonight also, must be the same system going through.

Training a going well. Running 3 days a week and core training 3 days also. My breathing isn't what I would like it to be but what can a former 18 yr long smoker really expect, lol but all in all training is going well.

So I'm sitting here watching football, and my wife is looking over our WDW plans for our Feb trip for the 57th time, you know, just to make sure we don't need to make any changes.

Out of the blue she says to me, "huh. I just realized I didn't book a Biergarten meal for us on this trip. That'll be a first."

So, no surprise, we're ending this relationship. If any of you have an extra room I can crash in (Americans and English only, I have standards after all) I would be really appreciative.

I was up all night with wicked heartburn and I think the ND game was the start. The Colts did nothing to make me feel better. Well, I'll head into the office for awhile and maybe I can work in a nap later this afternoon

Now all of our wireless printers don't work either. We have 6 printers in the office and only 1 that everyone can use. Great idea IT department. Let's update our security so that no one inside the company can get in.

We played in our first basketball tournament this past weekend and lost in the final. The boys played some really good ball throughout the weekend and it was fun to watch. I don't know how DS got up this morning after averaging about 27 minutes a game over the 4 games. I want to go back to bed and I was just sitting on the bench.

Welcome back!

Morning Guys.

We are heading out for the first two games of travel basketball in a bit. Thankfully we won't hit any snow on this drive. We are also playing a team that includes my brother as a coach and my nephew as a player. There will be a little bit of family pride on the line in the first game.

Atleast one of them is thinking safety...the helmut should help.

We won one and lost one on the day, overall we're happy with the first time out this year. The important point is that Declan and I have the early season family bragging rights.

Congrats on family bragging rights. My BIL and nephew were on the opposing side for 4 years. We won the first two years and had the bragging trophy. Third year we did not have a strong team and lost to them. Final year of youth hoops, we didn't get to play them in the regular season. We played them in round 2 of the playoffs. We were down 7 with two minutes left. DS scored 8 points and we came within 2 points. With 9 seconds left, they missed the first shot of the 1 and 1. We rebounded, outletted the ball, got it to DS and he hit a 40 foot 3 point shot to win the game at the buzzer. Pretty much guaranteed the family victory for all time.

Continued good luck this season. We start up on Saturday. I gave the head job for DD team to another guy as I really didn't want to deal with a fe of the parents this season. Instead, I am coaching a grade up from DD for a team that needed a good coach. We'll see how it goes. I was 13-3 in the league and 21-5 on the season with two tourney championships and a loss in the semifinals of our championships. Hope they can have as much success this season.

When we had our BLT contract, we couldn't get standard view studios. They were always booked out at 11 months. But, we did get the LV, but those were too many points". Sadly, with the FIL summer trip, no October trip next year. In fact, it looks like no WDW trip next year. It will be the first time in a decade. .

No Disney Trip!

Booked our 2015 October trip today. Currently at BLT with Lake View. I think our target resort is VWL though. We'll see if I can get it 7 months out.

While I know I will feel like a dirty, cheating sleazeball being at Universal, we are planning to spend some time there next trip to satisfy my daughter's HP infatuation. I'm a fan, too, but not enough to make me want to go to Universal. If you do go Norm, please make sure to bring back a strategy for my me!

We head to the dark side occasionally. Avoided it this time with the expected HP crowds. maybe next time. Remember, it's only cheating if you get caught. well....until you told everyone. We are still hoping for an August 2015, but it's not looking good.

I'm getting a free vacation. Yes, I'm cheap and easy.

We were able to get VWL at the 7 month mark in October. DW hated it because the pine trees really messed with her allergies. I really liked the resort and riding the boat over the water bridge to the MK. Both pools are really lacking, and there isn't a community hall. But, it has a really large beach with some activities and of course the movies.

Free vacations are only good if you can enjoy yourself. We had a couple early on at Disney and they were fabulous. Of course it was just my parents, us and my brother and his family and my SIL rocks! I actually went to college with her and knew her before my brother met her. We always got along well, graduated together and continue to get along well. I have been lucky. Can't really complain about the wife's side either. Good luck.
