Before we leave, it is lunch at ESPN Club. Another war on reuben sandwiches, as the one off this menu is gone. I did get in another Disdad meet with CJ.

I had the chicken & waffles and my two beers. CJ is squared away on those KY wins (UK & UL football) over those Florida teams.

All in all a good day today. Great meet up with Norm and family. The kids are pistols and he will have his hands full in a few years. And as I expected, he married way out of his league. As my southern mother would say, good people.

Spent the rest of the day in Epcot immersing myself in F&W. The pork belly from Brazil and beef bourguignon in France are killer. if you are there, it is a must do. The sirloin taco was just OK and a bit salty. Also did a mixology seminar which was interesting.

The premium package thing I bought worked pretty well today. You go to designated areas where multiple countries are featured. You place your order, they go get it for you without standing in line and you have a secluded area with tables where you can eat and chat with others in comfort. No fighting for a trash can top so you can put your selection down to eat.

Too tired to post pictures but may tomorrow. Supposed to go to DHS in the morning but will probably blow it off and just head for more F&W.

Mark for the win! We may be there at the same time. Not going to check now but if so, maybe we can run into each other while you are there. I am going to go to sleep now in my very quiet room at SSR. No 2:00 am interruptions. Yes, you can get the voodoo doll of me from Paul and Jim and start sticking pins in it.

PS. Forgot to tell you I saw my first face plant at F&W. A girl was laying flat on the ground and two friends were around her telling her she was "OK" and told her to get up. They just stood there telling her that. When they finally tried to drag her to her feet, I noticed she left a little stomach content on the pavement. The CMs handled it well, but come on people, it isn't even the weekend yet. It is only Tuesday!

Good morning! Hope everyone is doing well!

Fought off the back in the real world blues yesterday. Since the ToT 10 miler quick trip took a toll on me, next trips will be longer. The DL trip in Jan was expanded to 5 days/3 park days and eventually will plan a trip for 2015 wine and dine half, I will make that one atleast a 5 day.

I hope all is well with everyone, I start training for Star Wars Rebel challenge next week.

Regarding the strategy - can't blame a guy for trying plus it makes her think I am less nuts

I hear ya as there is only so much "Disney spend" per year. DW has gotten way better over the years with multiple trips provided we implement the couple of days hanging at resort during some trips and a DCL trip mixed in every so often. Can't complain.

I keep looking for excuses to buy APs but it is hard to justify unless you take a lot of trips like y'all have. When's the next one?
I decided I'm going to try to do 2015 Wine and Dine half for my coast to coast. I had a blast at ToT 10 miler!

Good morning! I haven't been around much at all lately, but I've been swamped. It is fall, which means it is both the busy season at my day job and it is a busy season after hours on the farm, so my Dis time has been cut back significantly.

I thought I'd share some pictures from the farm. I posted this in my PTR, but boys like big toys, so I thought I'd share it here too.

The Combine in the shop when we were getting it ready to roll.

Some pictures DW took while we were combining near the house.

Some pictures from the drivers seat.

The many monitors we have to control and track what is going on. Top to bottom, a camera mounted to the auger so we can see backing up; a screen that controls some settings for the combine and tracks the auto steer system; a screen that gives live feedback of what the yield and moisture is as we harvest.

An iPad with an app that maps the yield to show where in the field the crop is yielding better or worse. It plugs into the green monitor in the picture above.

And if you're interested... Here is a video I took one evening while I was running beans. The combine has auto steer that makes it drive a straight line controlled by GPS from one end of the field to the other. All you have to do is turn it around at the end and push a button to make it follow your pre-set line. And no, the radio is not turned up as loud as it sounds in that video.

Anyway... as of now, we're almost done with soybeans. We have about 130 acres left, but we can't get to them until it dries up. Once we can get to them, we should be able to get them done in a day, if we have good weather and can get started early and don't have any other problems.

We have shelled some corn over the past few days. Corn can be shelled when it is wet, as long as the leaves and stalks aren't just soaked. Beans on the other hand, absorb moisture, so we can't get back to them until they dry up a little bit more. The current weather pattern isn't too helpful, but at least we can get a little bit of a start on shelling corn.

For my first big race, it was fun. Taught me to be better prepared for the next one, for sure. Start training for Star Wars 1/2 next week. After you talked about the Wine and Dine course it got me looking into it, def looks like a good one.
