It's five o'clock somewhere!

Yep. Just not here. :sad2:

Afternoon Fellas, need some advice...

So we've decided to get away and will drive down to Vegas next weekend. Since we'll be halfway there, I was seriously thinking about making the drive down to CA for a DLR visit. However, I got in the van the other day, and rolled over 105K, manufacturer's recommendation for a timing belt service... I also found my brake rotors are warped(Thanks Hon... :furious:)

So now, do I roll the dice and drive to Disney, or spend my Disney money on that damn van? This decision is actually harder than it should be...

Ouchhhh… tough one there.

Considered renting a car for the trip?
Seems to work for CJ.

Go to Disney. While there have a Dole Whip.

That does solve most problems now don’t it.

You mistakenly thought I was offering, I was talking about what DS and I were going to have.

Well, someone doesn't believe in sharing. I don't blame you. :lmao:

Is it 5pm yet :(

Pirate. Always drinking time.

How much were the repairs? Adjust the budget and still go to DisneyLand.

Go to DLR. You only live once man.

Howdy Fellow dads hope all is well, I have a question, now that I jumped on annual passes (wish I would have 2 months ago) I now have to decide the best ways to get the most out of them.

Have the Oct short trip, if anything we could possibly use a day. Debating on not activating during this trip though.

Planning on upgrading to premier passport for a DL trip in Jan for Star Wars Rebel Challenge, prob use 3 days there.

I was thinking of finally doing a week trip for DD's spring break but it falls between 2 months so cannot take time off around end of months.

So my question is, fellow dads who have been during Memorial week (this week) is it horrible? Thoughts? Thanks guys.

Can't answer your AP question, but Memorial week wasn't bad. We went one year during that week and enjoyed it. I think we had more t-storms than most trips, but that was the only thing out of the ordinary.

Rough evening in our house. DW took the kids to get a couple of kittens to bring home. DS named them Sally and Penelope and held them in his lap all the way home. They weren't home an hour before they got into the kennel with the dogs.

Bad enough having to try to explain to a 4 year old that his kittens are dead. Then of course he wants to know why his dogs killed them. He told me before bed that he doesn't like his dogs anymore.

We've never had kittens around. We've got a stray cat that hangs out here but it is apparently mean enough to deal with the dogs.

That is just sad. Sorry Andy.

Oh man, really sorry to hear

Morning all. Soccer tournament for youngest and 7 hours of dance recital rehearsal for oldest. Well, 30 minutes of rehearsal time, 6.5 hours of sitting around and waiting time. I'm thankful DW sits with her and that oldest wants to do swim next year.

Sorry to hear this one. Hopefully, it will be better today.

That's rough Andy, sorry to hear that. I hope your little guy is able to deal with it all.

Again I am so sorry for what happen Andy, and please don't think I take what happen lightly, it is something you will have to deal with for a while.

...but, unfortunately the way my mind works...

I have come up with a new DISDad saying...

"That has a kitten chance in Andy's house of happening."

Good morning gents, and enjoy the weekend.

Very sorry to hear about this

Morning guys!

:wave2: Hi Paul!

Any one have any thoughts on Frontier airlines?

Since United pulled out of Cleveland as a hub, it appears Frontier is trying to grab some of that business and is starting to offer a couple flights to MCO and back non-stop. And pretty cheap!

I'm starting to think I might have been a little soon to pull the trigger on my DDC3 flight. :confused3

Have a great weekend guys! :thumbsup2

I'm definitely not a cat person but that is very sad. Sorry that your DS had to go through that and that you had an upset little one to consul.
