Oldest dd has her Spring dance performance for the schools today. I am working a half day to provide transportation. The show is open to the public tomorrow night. She doesn't seem quite as excited. Maybe that is a good sign she is wanting to stop dance and I can stop spending money.

Yup...Stop saving for college and retirement and use the funds for trips to Disney.

Good luck the her! DD dances, but the only show is Memorial Day weekend at the end of the year. Tonight we have the elementary school talent show. DD and her friend are doing the song "Timber". Haven't seen it yet, but the wife says the routine is ready to go. DS says he is staying home. He hears her sing 24 hours a day and has no plans to go listen on purpose.

I just received official permission to plan a Disdad/daughter trip in October for DD birthday. Now to see what dates will work. I was told she could only miss 3 days of school so I'll need to do some work around weekends and maybe the Columbus Day holiday.

Good news on the trip. Columbus day weekend gets crazy. We had it hit park capacity one year on a Wednesday of that week. Too bad you can't get the weekend before - lots of DisDads at the ToT running thing.

More and more schools are taking a week or two off around Columbus Day. We went at that time lat year and it was crazy busy.

I don't know if you watch Survivor but Marlin President Dave Samson was on this year on the "Brain Tribe." His first move was to get rid of the team's strongest player. He was voted off the island the next week. Wish both the owner and front office would be voted off our island.

Who says I can't? I can pretty much pick the days, just need to check the flight costs and what makes sense. Would definitely have to be there for a MNNSHP party night as that is the favorite event of the year for DD. I'll take a look at page 1 and try to connect on the days most are there.

That is cool. A few of us are going to be down there in October.

We'll have to coordinate so I can buy that drink I owe you. Then you can buy me the drink you'll owe me after the brackets are done.

I was quick to point out the irony of the Marlins president being on the Brain tribe to my wife. Although I think she made me explain because about every time he would talk to the camera about how he is such a great judge of character and talent and yada yada yada, my instinct was to say "you're an idiot and the Marlins suck."

I don't catch each week but have watched it occasion. I didn't realize he was on the show. I saw Cliff from Trailblazers get voted out. Did he run out of money? Or is this pseudo-celebrity edition?
