Mini putt? ;)

Good Morning men! I survived another call weekend!!

Darcy the bedroom paintjob looks good. It is giving me a few ideas to redo Ethans!

Happy Birthday Norm!!!

Monday Morning Ownage!

Home Depot had a brochure in their paint section called The Man Cave; that is where the colours came from.

Thanks all. Difficult Monday morning. One on side is that midlife birthday (40). On the other, 4 sleeps to WDW.

It's just a number my friend, just a number.

NORRRRRRRRMMMMMM!!!!!

Happy Birthday!!

I turned 40 last year and it is isn't so bad, it's just like being 20 ....with kids, a mortgage, a wife, a full time job, a ton of responsibilities, a honey do list, car payments, a ton of bills, in some cases a little less hair on your head and in most cases a little more hair in other places, in some cases 1 pound per year after 20 around your waistline, in most cases 2 pounds per year around your waistline.................

On second thought 40 is nothing like being 20......

Happy Birthday anyway....:lmao:

Is she a card-carrying member of the Fun Police?

Those instantly are the best colors ever.

Well, getting ready for a second furlough in three months. What a friggin' load of nonsense. And just before our trip, too.:furious:

:confused3 Would love to have some good leadership in our government right now. Sorry that you are fodder in poor decisions being made right now and I hope this gets resolved quickly.

Morning Guys....

Happy Birthday Norm....sorry it had to fall on a Monday! :thumbsup2

A friend of DW has a kid about the same as age as our youngest dd. They played at soccer together a few seasons and will still do some soccer camps. I've watched them together, and while she is a bit faster, my dd has way better foot skills. She signed her kid up to play on the select soccer team, and she plays keeper, sits the bench, or plays if there is an injured child. But, she boasts her child is on the select team even though she sits the bench. I'm so ready to move to WDW and make it a magical day every day. Do you have $5 million you can give me?

I can beat that one. A kid that played select AAU baseball with my son last year was not good enough to play so he played the minimum time all season last year. We moved to a better program for the coming year, but this kids parents actually signed a letter stating that they will pay $3K for their son to play on the D1 team this coming season with no guaranteed paying time and most likely little to no playing time all season. Basically a practice player. The purpose was again just so he can say he is playing division 1. They have already been telling everyone how great he is and that he made the top division.

All I can say right now is Norm might have the right idea get rid of cable. The steelers made me sick again!!! They are lucky I will follow them through thick and thin.

Your right.....The Steelers suck! :rotfl2::rotfl2::lmao::lmao:

Sorry your getting affected by this mess. Unfortunately it doesn't look like common sense has any role in the government anymore. Let's hope they figure out how to work together soon.

This puts it all into perspective. :rotfl2:

And I guess then you say "I feel like a 20 year old" it has a very different meaning at 20 vs. 40.

Don't want to get all political here, but I just don't understand the nonsense behind all of this. Congress will continue to get paid while many, MANY people will go without a paycheck. Sure, you should save for such events, but some people don't (or can't) and need that paycheck to come in on time with the amount they expect. Besides that, this is just plain foolishness.

Sorry you are one of the ones being impacted by this.

Morning!

Played Arkham Horror last night, a super nerdy and lengthy board game, ate pizza, drank beer, and cookies too! I havent eaten this much junk in a while as I'm dieting down for the upcoming trip in November, :rotfl: or as I call it "The Disney Cut", which is followed by "The Disney Bulk"
Arkham Horror? Does it have anything to do with the Arkhams from the Batman Universe? Never heard of a board game having to do with Arkham Asylum. Video games, yes. Board games, no.
Money cutting decision executed. The cable is gone. I will miss ESPN, but will enjoy the extra money. We also did Netflix, so we at least have some old shows to watch.

I'm still getting used to no tv. The HD antenna didn't get NBC too well, so I returned that. How am I supposed to dominate my fantasy football leagues if I can't even watch the games? Why did you choose netflix? From my small amount of research, I thought Hulu Plus would have a better selection. I'm probably going to sign up for one of those real soon.

Anyone listen to Disney music through their computer at work? I need a new site. I've been listening to DTuneslive.com for years but they shut down the site permanently recently. I know about d-cot but don't really like them. The selection is good but the crowd noise in the background really lessens the audio quality in my opinion. Any other sites?
