Welcome
Randall will be along soon to give you a number.
WHere are you staying this trip?
Hey, I'm posting to get my DidDad #,![]()
How is everyone doing this weekend? I'm officially 59 days away from our next trip, SO CLOSE!
Man, its a split stay trip this run.
Poly Nov20-23
Fantasy 23-30(BOAT TIME!)
Wilderness Lodge 30-Dec 3
Can't wait, we've never stayed at either of those resorts, and havent been on the Fantasy before either.
Welcome. Dues are payable in dole whips, bacon, beer, or cake. You send them to me and I will distribute.
Never been on a cruise yet, so enjoy. I'm not a big fan of split stays, but will do them occasionally. Have a great trip.
@theduck619: Tangent, but I just read your adoption blog, you're adopting 4-kid s is that right??!? I've got virtual 6-year old twins, one bio and one adopted so I feel some of your paper-chase pains/excitement! Good luck!

Welcome to our little clam bake !Wow. It's great to see other dads who 1) quote hilarious movies. 2) love disney as much as I do and 3) know that shenanigans is more the just a silly word!
This is my first post so a little info:
My name is James and I live in NJ. I have a DS5 and a DD2. We check into POR in 10 days and I can't wait!
Sorry to hear about the sick stuff but applaud her for wanting to tough it out and play anywayDD is supposed to be playing soccer game in about 30 minutes, but she's down and out with some sinus infection that struck Thursday night. Poor kid... nose is all red from blow, blow, blow. But STILL wants to go play.![]()
Let us know how it works out. I am looking at our March trip to take it very casual with Illuminations since we have seen so many times. Thinking of a beer walk for me & DW and snack cart raid for DS rather than our historical camping out sitting on concete. My wife did schedule Illuminations as one of the FP+ events. I'm guessing it gives us a reserved spot so we don't have to deal with the Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome battle scene to get a spot.
Good to hear from ya and sorry you are running a bit too much right now.Into the double digits on this new thread and I still haven't posted. I think I am entering a phase of life where I won't be around as much.![]()
At least I am still on the green side of the sod so life is good.
Welcome new guys, congrats and prayers as appropriate.
Back to the grindstone.
Gotta luv the weaker players when they get their first goals - I always enjoyed that more than when the studs I coached were at 2-3 a game.Well, youngest dd lost her first soccer team today 4-1. We got smoked in the first half. We played one of the better teams and I stayed to my player rotation, even though one of my keepers was terrible, giving up 3 goals. But, one of my younger, weaker players scored her first (and probably only) goal of the season.
Well said relative to the company being second to none. The family took me out for my birthday dinner tonight. The restaurant we were suppose to go to was closed so we went to another popular local spot instead. The food was ok (compared to other times) and the server wasn't all that bright but the company was second to none.
Throw the shellfish pickin's in the neighbor's yard. That keeps your garage and trash bin smelling fresh.
When they ask you about it, say "I'm allergic to shellfish, what are you talking about?"
EnjoyOfficially on Vacation now, This week I'll paint the living room and it's off to Busch Gardens next weekend

Very coolMorning guys. Great family day yesterday. Our DNR had a family outdoor experience at one of the state parks in Indy and all of the events were FREE
We did horse back riding, rifle shooting, archery, and the ol duck got 2 out of 3 in his first skeet shooting experience! Just a note, I have not fired a gun since I shot my first dear 17 years ago.
They also had rock climbing, 4 wheel off road course, canoeing, kayaking, crossbow shooting (way cool), disc golf, fish net making, gold panning, and a whole bunch of stuff.
What a great way to get families outdoors and realize the resources we have right in our back yard.

Yea, I'm not a huge fan of split stays either, but we don't pack nearly as much for Disney trips so its not a huge deal.
As for the cruise, they are amazing for us! I love my kids, but sometimes I just want them to GO AWAY, and the boat provides that option with the kids clubs. We have to drag them outta the clubs usually, but its very relaxing. Not to mention the food and drinks everywhere.
to the DISDads jbwork!
Do you have a first name...![]()
Ha, yea, my name is Jason, I'm 35 years old, and I'm....a disney-holic.
Welcome to the club.
Got any bacon on you?
Beer?

So, whats this Disdads Convention thing? Anyone have a link handy?
