On the up side, DW is completely shocked by the amount of “stuff” she’s accumulated.
Once we get to the new house, she may just start throwing a lot of it out

The late night additions to AK are the points that caught my eye most. They always closed early for the animals.
I wonder what changes they are planning to make that no longer a necessity.

Just checking in. Seems like everything is in order here. Just chilling by the pool while the kids watch Halloweentown outside.

We had another good day but I hit the wall big time. When I sat down at Flame Tree BBQ, I knew I was done. We stayed for a few more hours but I WAS DONE!

I was hoping to make it over to EPCOT for some brews but didn't have the strength. I'm sure a good night's sleep will get me right back on track.

At least you got as far as the Flame Tree before the wall found you.
Would’a been a shame to miss that.

Good Morning Dads! Quick tip of the hat to the guys up north on the Leafs start to the season. Got the NHL Center Ice package this year so me & DS can watch every Blackhawks game this year so been able to watch a lot of the other teams as well.

Not looking forward to that. Other than my Disney stuff & tax records, I don't save a lot. But, the house is still full ....

Ouch! It was merely a warning! Lol.

Mind you, I would have gone to the park but the wife suggested the quick service from the boardwalk and the movie. Admittedly, I was ok with that.

I think we need to build in more down time or casual plans. I honestly was wiped out today. It was warm but the humidity was brutal.

Every other day of down time works well for us.

This year was an eye opener for me, as I was getting run down halfway through the trip. My position in the family was the one who could go all day go-go-go and suffer few ill effects, unlimited Disney Energy. First few days, no problem, but after that....I found myself...tired. The heat/humidity did a number although I think there were some underlaying reasons I need to look into further. Yes we opened/closed a lot of parks, but I think we far from commandoed anything, but we got everything we wanted to do done plus. I rather enjoyed the down time moments. Girls did some of the pool games and they even won a round of trivia (thanks to me knowing the answer to a "difficult" question.) scoring a pool toy. Another fond memory was just sitting up at the main street train station, looking up main street, watching a storm roll in then hit us.

I still outlasted my family. Older & fatter, yet still the most durable.

Bleah. Back at work after week at Disney and two days of putting the house back together after the painters were done. Missed out on the 'active shooter' drill here at the post. Wonder if Fed was running around out on the fairway in full regalia.

Spending the first part of the morning at a Tim Horton's while waiting to pick DS up school for a doctor's appointment. I have come to learn that this is where all the old men come to avoid their wives in the morning.
