Like Mr. Toads wild ride in that it was kind of crazy? or like Mr. Toads wild ride in that it was torn away from Disney World to be converted to Pooh's and only a few small remnants remain?

I think one of the betamouse guys said their dad convinced them Mr Toads had two endings. You could got to either heaven and hell but it depended on how you were behaving.

Hmmm....I think you've gone too philosophical on me. I think I meant that I was gone, but people missed me and lamented my departure (regardless of how brief.)

Fun fact: In "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" attraction, there is a picture on the wall of Mr. Toad handing the deed over to Pooh.

Good night for DS tonight in basketball. He played with his club team tonight and he finished with 10 points, 3 blocks and a handfull of rebounds in their 39-37 win. We are off to the middle school provincials this weekend, hopefully to bring home the banner.

Ugh, just cold and windy here today. Ready for winter to be over.

We got lucky, the storm went around us and it turned out to just be a crappy wet day.

Glad to hear the first day at the new place went well.

Team Sparrow has added another member and now consists of James, me, Brent, Brett, and Jim. Truly, this team is exceptional.

As long as he doesn't expect us to clap, might spill the drinks, and requires effort.

Absolutely. We can yell and hoot in between drinks. Clapping is acceptable when wearing the double can beer hat.

Sweet. Team Sparrow. I'm all in then. I bleed...wait...what are the team colors? They should probably be something that represents despair AND debauchery.

And I will run...when chased.

Hoist the colors. I guess the traditional ones are black flag and white skull and cross boards. But, the good thing about being pirates is that we can hoist whatever we want or can steal.

Congrats to DS.

Evening guys...first day went well I think, didn;t get to do much more then the basics (cash and stock) boss was preoccupied with the auditor all day. :crazy2: Quite tired tonight though :faint:

First thing was first, marked my two weeks for Disney off on the vacation planner. :thumbsup2

October rocks though, both the MNSSHP and F&W Festival are then

You have your priorities straight.

Yup! We have never been to either and that is the plan. We want to make sure to get DS13 to the party before he gets "too cool" for it.

But you have to look over your shoulder to see it!

There's some guy out on one of the other boards that tells me DCL is the best cruise line in the world so I'm not worried.

Well, with the new ships it is a lot less likely to have any issues. I also know a guy that works with the arborists. He is one of the guys that changes out the plants and trees and any of the live plants. From what he says, they do a pretty thorough and effective job of checking every little thing all the time.

Congrats and good luck this weekend! We have a game with DS vs. my nephew tomorrow. DS has not been feeling well. Went to baseball practice tonight and the coach sit him out because he looked white and not well. Hopefully he is better by tomorrow night.

Looks like another foot of snow for us this weekend from the reports.:headache::mad: At least a lot of the last storm has melted already to give room to put it.

Agreed Brent. Glad your first day went well.

I think you should run in the boots and give others a chance.

It would be better if I were there next to you to enjoy it.

If you make the journey, the beers will be on me

Thanks nemie. You've been quite the poster lately

What are the plans in Nassau?

I think we are going to take a walk to the Queen's Staircase and Fort Fincastle and then back aboard the ship. DW has a spa appointment in the afternoon while DS and I will hit the Aquaduct. We haven't heard a lot of great things about Nassau.

Thanks. I hope your DS is feeling well enought to play.

DS hasn't played against his cousin this year but it is fun to watch when they do play. They got at each other pretty hard. My nephew is a couple of months older but DS has about a foot on him so it makes for an interesting match up.

No snow forecasted for this weekend and hopefully none for next either. We drive to Portland Maine on Friday night and I hope it isn't in the snow.

Morning guys. Girl Scout Cookie truck arrives this morning so I am going to help unload and sort out cases of cookies for the troops. Just can't seem to make progress on the grant proposal and maybe if I am nice the ladies will share some cookies with me.
My wife is packaging up all the ones my colleagues ordered from my daughter. I think I have to tote in something like 80 boxes.

Well, 'we' have decided to move our trip to WDW from Thanksgiving 2013 back to June/July 2014. Something about a thing called a 'budget' or some nonsense. I thought part of the experience of going to WDW was financing it, but she seems to think paying cash is better. :confused3

At least we are still planning a trip, albeit over a year from now.

Budget, smudget. Get a Disney Chase Visa and do 6 months finance free. I've heard of this elusive "cash" thing but I'm thinking it's the financial equivalent of a unicorn.
