Ditto here. I was off all last week, hoping I survive today. I do indeed miss the litany of football on New Year's day.

Always go with the more severe injury . I tore a hip flexor running a local marathon about 7 years ago. The story is now that I stopped a run away van from creasing into an old lady pushing a stroller

Had another late night last night...Went to the neighbors, for some drinks, etc... with tonight being New Years eve, don't know how I am going to readjust to a normal bedtime, and morning routine...

I know it's still over 2 months away but anyone have any thoughts on OZ? I am looking forward to it and I'm not an avid fan of the wizard of OZ , I appreciate it as a classic, we will be at WDW the weekend before its release so I'm kindof curious if they will have anything special going on for the movie release

I agree, even though DD likes wizard of oz, don't think this ones for her though, this will prob be the next movie I pay to go see, not sure what all comes out before though

I am anxious to see that myself. I had told Shari (mine not Brian's ) that Wizard of OZ was one of those movies that could never be remade...then we saw the previews for this the next day ..I guess it is not a remake but just telling the story from a different angle.

A remake of any kind would be a total mistake, but this looks like a prequel from a different angle, which I think is a great idea, in the 2012 unofficial Disney world guide, they speculated that Disney might build a section in a park for an OZ world but that doesn't look to ever happen with the carsland announcement I assume being made during New Years rockin eve

Like it or not i think Disney is going to have to focus on older kids and aults eventually. Oz or something like that (not Avatar yuck) to rival Harry Potter.

I think it would be a cool addition to the parks, I assume HS would be the place, from what I've read is Disney would have to focus solely on their movie and not aspects of wizard of oz since Warner brothers is sue happy over it (understandably) but Avatarland is still the worst idea I've heard, still hearing its still in the works, please scrap it Disney

Hey Everyone! Finally back at work where I have some time to goof off. We saw the previews for OZ and are excited to see it. We usually watch the Wizard of Oz throughout the holiday season and can;t wait to see this one. It is definitely a prequel and is based on the Wizard and how he got to Oz. It would be awesome to get some Oz stuff in the parks at some point.

Big game in Indy today. Coach Pagano is back on the sideline for the Colts! He is Chuckstrong

Yup. Thanks to the Colts, the Pats now have a bye in the first round and will be Superbowl bound again! I was worried about that extra game.

Coach Pagano's return was a great story and really happy he was able to get the Leukemia into remission. Good luck to the Colts next week.

Sorry CJ. Once the Colts took care of Houston, all hope for the Fins was lost. At least it's warm in Miami.

Just not happy with Garrett. Unprepared at the end of first half. Poor clock management and no points. Cowboys have talent, but are looking for the big play. This goes to Jerry being the boss. Would like to see them win a game or two in the playoffs.

Maybe they can win a playoff game next year. HAHA! They are so messed up I'm not sure they will ever be good again. Romo just can't win the big game. With a $16M cap hit coming next year for him, it's extension or cut time.

January is looking like a crazy month but I have all my presentations finished and just need to polish them up. Searching for some grant funding should be next on the agenda.

Reporting in from work, supervisor and 2 mechanics have already left due to sickness, I did my best to stay away from them. So now I'm here holding down the fort, I'm wondering if since I'm acting supervisor ,I have the power to say when and if I can leave early today. I'll have to ponder that one for a bit
