Good evening guys, has anyof your kids changed birthday themes close to their birthdays? Lol DD turns 5 next Friday and for 2 months she has wanted a pink poodle birthday, so we got all the decorations and today we ordered the cake, a few min ago DD comes up and says she thinks she wants an Oswald the lucky rabbit birthday, which of course is awesome and I love the idea but I had to tell her everythings already ordered and if she wants an Oswald bday next one then I'm more then happy to do that, lol but proud of her for liking Oswald

She will probably want the pink poodle party tomorrow. Don't sweat it.

Ha I might have that beat.. My daughter turn 16 next Sunday.She said she did not want a sweet 16 party. Now just last week she said she wants one. So now we have to scramble around and plan a sweet 16 party in less then 2 weeks !!! This should be a fun task for us !!!
So at least you have a plan set LOL we are just starting . Darn kids

So, were you able to find a DJ?

At her age, she can at least assist in the planning... Put together the invitee list, etc... You get the distinct honour of paying for it.

Evening guys...we've madee it to Sarnia for Christmas with DW's family...and a chance to really relax.

Thanks for all the prayers, she had her ultrasound this afternoon, will get results next week. We still have some issues of her being afriad to go to the bathroom, understandable given the circumstances, but no more discomfort now. It's looking more and more like a kidney stone is the suspect, but they want to make sure there is no other culprit.

Hope everyone's going to have a good safe weekend. Will pop on from time to time when around the computer. Tomorrow we spend the day at DW's father's place, and afterwards, her mom and stepdad will watch the girls, we get to go see the Hobbit So my Secret Santa gift from work will come in handy (gift card for theaters). Sunday will be here, driving home really early Monday to make it back for my shift Monday morning.

Oh, boy! That's a tall order! Don't think it's possible at such short notice. Have you talked to her about having a sweet sixteen not on her actual birthday (maybe in a month?) so you have time to plan?
