Hopefully Florida St goes to the SEC like they are talking about. That leaves room for them in the ACC.

I don't think the SEC wants anymore teams in states that already have an SEC team (I know UT and vandy are in TN) but SEC is trying to expand into new states like Texas am and Missouri

Good to hear. Glad you are getting the New Year started right.

This whole conference carousel is hard to keep track of, but didn't the latest development in the Big East kind of leave them the odd man out? Are they an independent now or are they just going to be the flagship school in the new Big East, which is really just the mountain west or wac?

Mostly Conference USA. That is why the Catholic basketball schools decided they had enough.

Been a bit troubling tonight, been feling mentally out of sort, thinking about other people. My co-worker buddy was off tonight, turns out his mother went to Emerg Christmas Eve with pneumonia, he's pretty upset, rightfully so.

Also DW called not long before the Disney on Ice started to tell me that youngest had been complaining that it hurt to pee this morning and just then, and when she went, there was blood present. They didn't panic, and still did the show. Any other bathroom trips were fine. Still went to the Kids Clinic at the Hospital tonight, and they found no evidence of an infection, but acknowledge she was feverish last week, and battling a cold. There is still traces of blood (though not visable), and are re-testing samples, and we are waiting on an ultrasound. The are not sure it's the remnants of an infection, or something else, possibly although it's pretty rare, a kidney stone was passed?Feeling very unsettled that a new health issue has popped up out of the blue.

Hope she is doing much better.

Not going to happen. Same with Clemson. Look for Virginia or Virginia Tech as possible SEC candidates. I think the SEC should stay pat the way it is though. FSU may go to the Big 10/12/14 or whatever.

Not a huge fan of II either, but it has some good backstory. III is the best of the prequels, imo...

Never saw 1, 2 or 3. Don't plan on changing that. TV tonight is a very boring Rutgers/Va. Tech. game. Also have Seton Hall playing B-Ball on ESPN 3. Want to see the team that represents where all my money goes. Up 40-33 in the third. They were draining 3's at the end of the half.

They were picked to finish in the bottom half of the Big East. Lost 2 games this year to Washington in OT and LSU after they blew a big lead. Both were away. Right now they are losing with 9 minutes to go.
