And it will make for a great conversation starter in the corrals waiting for the start of the race.

"Nice Shirt. What's a Nemesis Challenge?"

"Um...well, my dad sort of knows these guys from some website that for some reason or another either hate each other or are good friends. I haven't quite figured that part out yet. Anyway, since they're old and fat and out of shape they decided to run a half marathon. Then my dad got me this shirt. There, now you know as much as I do."

:rotfl2::lmao:

I'm not in favour of violence alas....Do hope you get better soon though. It'd be kinda nice if the boss'd take a bit of pity and send you home though. Prayers

You Canadians are just so adorable when you’re being naive.

The Ebenezer Scrooge from the beginning of Dickens’s story would have been decried as a liberal, anti-business commie by proper South’rn US businessmen. The one that pocked his head out the window on Christmas day and spoke kind words to a child…

they’d have lynched him.

Sorry, blew a hydraulic line on the loader. :confused3

They sell little blue pills for that ya’ know.

Jokes on them though - I'm collecting 3 weeks worth of nasty, stinky diapers. I'd love to see the look on the trash collector's face when he opens that garbage can. :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

Hummmm…
Wouldn’t that be in direct violation of a many points within the Geneva Convention as it relates to chemical and biological warfare?

Suggest anyone seeing her at the DDC, not to mention the word "Crash," in front of her. Unless you are far away and going quickly in the opposite direction. When she opened the present, she first saw the front and thought it was cool. After looking at the back she commented, "Jerk."

:lmao:
Nice...

And an excellent demonstration of the vastly enhanced vocabulary skills currently being imparted upon today’s youth by our institutions of higher learning.

St-Ambroise Apricot Wheat Ale. Got some for Christmas and for a fruit flavoured beer it's not bad for a mid-afternoon boxing day drink.

I’ll have one of those…
It ought to do me more good then that beating I was wishing for earlier today.

There are concepts which seem so elegant and obvious when relegated to one’s own thoughts just simply break down when you attempt to expressed them via a device as feeble as written language.

"So... 'Team Crash'... what's that about?"

(Whack! .... THUD!)

:rotfl2:
Now that right there though…
That’s some high falutin’ Noble caliber prose right there.

Good afternoon fellow dads, everything went well with the tooth pulling except now I'm cranky as Beverly but ill deal with that, hope everyone's doing well

Hey! Why does your ticker say 56 days until the DDC Convention? You going to a different convention than we are? :lmao:

When I see it, it says 15 days!

Don't you guys have an F350 with a blade on it like every dealership around here? I figured you'd be open as long as there are any 4x4's left on the lot!

Yep...ours is a 1996 F350.

We'd love to sell all of our 4x4s....the problem is, most of our employees don't have 4x4s to get home!

Roads are like ice here. Glad I had an all wheel drive to get home. Drifts are all over the place.

Thankfully, we still have power.

Good stuff, their Oatmeal Stout is pure goodness...

That really sucks... iknow my boss talked a co-worker into comming in, she's dealing with kidney stones, and under heavy pain-killers. Can't say the same the higher up you go though...

Happy Boxing Day to our northern Dads. We have avoided most of the worst weather but still have potential for some slop. It has been relatively quiet. The kids haven't even been fighting much. I've had a couple of naps and if the driving isn't too bad tomorrow my parents are driving in from the snow belt. I'm not even going to try to go back and see what I missed so Welcome new Dads, prayers for those in need, and congratulations to those deserving.

I measured a little over 12" in the street before it was plowed. Driveway is clear and pummeled the DD's with snowballs. Today was a good day :thumbsup2:lmao:

“So your dad ran the Half?”

“No, he isn’t a runner, he is part of Team Barry. Actually the team’s General Manger. Team Barry is racing against Team Tim and it has become a blood feud. Golf carts ran over one of the participants and a truck also tried to run him down. The other guy might have a broken leg.”

“Oh wait, I have to go, I think I see this guy named Paul. He is on Team Tim.”

“Is that a knife?”

“We call it a shiv.”

"So... 'Team Crash'... what's that about?"

Funny! Crash thought so too.

I miss snowball fights. Driving, shoveling and that other Beverly not so much. Glad you guys had fun.

It was so bad here they closed ALL of the malls :scared1:

Unreal, isn't it???

Actually, I don't think it was near as bad as they hyped it up to be. Yeah, there was snow and in places I saw drifts about 5 or 6 feet, but I've seen worse. I think they kind of panicked because we didn't have any to speak of last year and people just forgot how to deal with a big snowfall. I know our road was in far worse shape 2 years ago. Oh well, free day home from work. I'll gladly take it. Now if I go all the way in to work and they pull this crap again tomorrow, I won't be happy!

It ended pretty quickly to be honest. I was expecting worse, but by 2pm it seemed to be just snow.

Don't blame you for having to deal with all that. Hope it all passes

She should run with an eye patch and a club :thumbsup2. It may cause Barry to run a record time :lmao:

Still no snow here, it'll probably hit tomorrow when I have to go to the doctors:sad2:

We caved and ventured out to a couple of stores for Boxing Day. KMids ended up with new Nintendo 3DS' and games for both it and the Kinect. I ran into Walmart, got two books I wanted and a few 1/2 price bags of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, so all is good.Girls played for a while, now supper time and a movie. :thumbsup2
