Morning everyone...Staycation II is officially over, time to trudge back to work....BUT 7 shifts, 8 days to go!!:cool1:

Sitting at the table and I'm writing down all the restaurants at WDW I've eaten at. It's pretty extensive, I feel, though I have no swan/dolphin meals represented. I'm love dining planning, but I'm really not sure where to go from here. Well, the benefit of planning this far in advance is the time to research. Be our Guest and Whispering canyon are on the list, but that's it so far. And mostly, I just wanted to post to say good morning.

Good morning.

Do you ever wake up feeling like someone beat you with a 2X4 while you were asleep and have no idea why you feel that way? :headache:

Now you’re getting into my neck of the woods. The Richmond option is pretty simple. If however you chose to follow I-81 completely through the Shenandoah Valley down to I-77 then I’d advise you to stay in I-77 all the way to its terminus at I-26 in Columbia SC. Then just follow “26-East” for about 90 miles and it meets I-95. It's more of a straight line that way. If you try to use parts of I-73/74 or I-40 to get over to I-95 in NC you’ll be doing a lot more east/west traveling.

Thanks, i had posted in another room and got the same advise about 77 all the way down so thanks for the corroboration.:thumbsup2

Which calculator is that??

I go by what Josh says and he has the parks at 4 during the weekdays and the weekends are 6-7's.

Hmmm... I got my info from Touring Plans. I suspect the actual number ranking varies based on what each company uses to gauge the crowd levels. For Touring Plans, they use historical wait times to help calculate their crowd level. My guess is that wait times usually are pretty good the first few weeks of December... but crowds are slightly higher because guests are enjoying the decorations and shopping more. Just a guess there.

Looks like Josh also uses resort bookings and other historical data to help calculate his data. And after reading his descriptions of what is going on in December this year, I feel he has a more accurate crowd number. We visited Dec 10-15, 2011, and I would say an overall rank of 3 or 4's during the week would have been accurate.

Looks good. You taking me along on this trip.

I'll ask the pilot to make a detour and stop in KY. If he agrees then we'll pick you up. If not, I'm pretty sure they lock the cockpit now and they frown upon customers trying to take over the flight controls.:rolleyes1

We did it back in 2010 and for us once was enough. Ate all the free cookies and hot chocolate are bellies could hold and rode all the rides. Our particular night was low crowds so it was worth it. It was also our travel day so it beat spending another day for tickets.

Still can't believe the crowd calculator shows 1's and 2's for our week! :cool1::cool1:

Now that's a bonus there. 1's and 2's are AWESOME!:yay::yay: We get 4's -6's in two weeks from what I saw a few weeks ago. I'll have to go check it again.

Jim, thanks for pointing out about Spaceship Earth.... Looks like we'll addit to the list of attractions we're going to miss. :headache: It closes our first day at Epcot, re-opens a couple of days after our second one....So it'll be on our miss list with both Jungle Cruise and Muppet Vision 3D.

No problem. It was kind of a bummer for the kids. I think it opens our last day/travel day so we may try to get over there for a couple rides. DD and I did the Jungle Cruise last time. DS wanted to do it this time, but I guess it gives us a reason to bounce back next year.:thumbsup2

Good morning guys :thumbsup2

:bitelip: Good morning. What day is it? :bitelip:

Good morning! :)

Morning everyone...Staycation II is officially over, time to trudge back to work....BUT 7 shifts, 8 days to go!!:cool1:

9 more working days counting today! I may take a day off between now and then to make it less. :cool1::cool1::banana::banana:

Good morning.

On Monday actually. It has developed into a cold. At least it was before we leave. Hoping it's long gone before we head to the World. Listening the Stacey Aswat and the old "Must Do's" from the in room programming. It increases the excitement level with the trip coming up.:thumbsup2

Morning dads

Good morning.

Yes, till I see the empty bottle. Then I remember.

SINGLE DIGITS

Looking at the UT crowd calendar, the first 5 days are at a "6" crowd level and the last 3 are at a "4". The first three days we will be at the recommended parks so the planning seems optimal. Started packing last night.

First playoff game for DS summer hoops tonight. It's against the 7 seed so we should beat them. We ended up finishing 3rd for the regular season.:thumbsup2

It is morning.

I've been away from the boards for a while (stupid "life" getting in the way).

I'm getting back into the club because i'm going to be planning a trip in May (yay!)

anyway, is anyone working on any trip reports they feel like posting so I can read? I'm pretty lazy, and I'm not sure I'll go looking for them.

but I have an iPad now, so I can read trip reports before bedtime.

(trip reports are better than DVR's Days of our Lives)

thanks dads!

Welcome back and congrats on the trip!

Ouch.

Was the roundup ready corn linked to food allergies? ...

Depends whose material you are reading. I eat it.

::yes::
The closer I get to 50, the more common those days become, but it beats the alternative of not waking up.

I know not of this Josh website. May I please have directions?

Wow... I just checked the thread numbers... I haven't been in the top 10 in a LOOOOOONG time :lmao::lmao: No wonder Randall was asking who hacked my account :rotfl2:

‘Morning all…

Do you ever wake up feeling like someone beat you with a 2X4 while you were asleep and have no idea why you feel that way? :headache:

Everyday…
Y’all tellin’ me that ain’t normal?

Thanks, i had posted in another room and got the same advise about 77 all the way down so thanks for the corroboration.:thumbsup2

Glad to be of assistance.
If you travel that route just tap out IASW on the horn when you get to the SC Welcome Center…
I’ll likely hear it from there.

“Stacey TV”…
Good memories. The only thing watchable on the telle in the resorts.
Just as well, no sense sitting inside when you got the whole of WDW at you beck and call.

I hope that isn't the case. I just walked downstairs this morning and told DW my knees felt like they were carrying about 400 pounds.

Yes, till I see the empty bottle. Then I remember.

Well, not for me anyway. :rolleyes1

Welcome to old age! Next you'll have an overwhelming urge to yell at kids who walk on your lawn.

Welcome to old age! Next you'll have an overwhelming urge to yell at kids who walk on your lawn.

I totally did that last night. I was sitting in my car in the driveway finishing up a call when I see two neighbor kids ride their bike up my driveway and cut through the grass. Without thinking, I just hung up the phone and yelled at the little brother (not a big yell- just his name and a wagging finger). The oldest brother was walking and as soon as I popped out of the car I heard him say "uh-oh". He's a good kid so I just told him to let his brothers know not to do that. I can't yell at them too much. These are the kids whose dad is in this video.

Good morning gents! Almost half way through...........
Good luck guys. And to the kids. Interesting time for the whole family. Enjoy it and take pictures
Thanks for the thoughts and will post a couple of pics for all the Dads not yet close to the college thing so they can get a sneek peak at what is heading their way.

Congrats on the trip and welcome back!
Thanks for the link, have not seen this sight before and will check it out for our March trip planning.
