Thanks for all the birthday wishes for Lauren!!!! She has enjoyed hearing about all the different people who wished her Happy Birthday!!!! She wanted cupcakes this evenings instead of a regualr cake so it was chocolate cupcakes with hot pink icing....go figure LOL. Caleb (our elf on the shelf) had a birthday party with Barbie and other toy figures set up on the kitchen table for her when she got up. After cake we headed to her basketball game...now it is time to settle in and get ready for tomorrow. I am supposed to be a chapperone (first time ever) for the second grade trip to see The Muppet Christmas Carol and then out to eat....Pray for me!![]()
One of these days at a gift auction, I want to try to have a buffet, a lot of people that are sitting in groups bring a ton of food with them, the last auction the table next to us had a huge tray of fried chicken, it looked really good and the smell had me drooling
, now it always seems like all these people who bring all this food don't eat a lot of it, I wanted to go over and offer like $3 for a (chicken)breast, if they said no, I would say, Come on you know you want another blue ticket
But my wife wouldn't let me, oh it's going to happen one of these days, just got to be sitting with the right people

In that case Happy Canadian Birthday Lauren!

It couldn't be fried chicken, because we have the best here. But, if it was all you can eat lobster, then I would buy another ticket.
Early going away potluck for my assistant today and ate way too much. Hate to see her go but it is a wise career move for her. I was going to try and get some work done this afternoon and get closer to being caught up but feeling a need for a nap and since SWMBO and Jr. SWMBO are off to Girl Scouts I'm calling it an day for now though I will probably be back in once the kids go to bed. I get more done in an hour when nobody is in the building than in a full morning when everyone is around.
I don't know if you have any nearby, but Jimmy Buffett's restaurants (Cheeseburger in Paradise and Margaritaville) have good gluten free menus as well. We have a Cheeseburger in Paradise nearby and my sister loves it.
Evening guys![]()
The one auction we go to on Easter Monday always has 4 live lobsters as a prize, wonder if they would make it to your house![]()

I doubt it. Lobsters have a horrible sense of direction, and they're very slow moving on land.
Randall, some pictures if you want to add them.
Better to cut the bacon in half first.

Never had raw lobster. Yes, they'd make it home but not thru the night. Steamed, grilled, boiled,...?
Would raw lobster be safe for consumption?![]()
Don't they have some kind of sushi lobster roll![]()
Having Kentucky Legend Turkey for dinner tomorrow![]()
Last summer. I made homemade BBQ sauce.

Even the munchkins liked it.
That's a huge rack of ribs, St Louis cut![]()
