Don't think the Twinkie is going anywhere, here's something you may not know although separate companies Drake's and Hostess have the same parent company, from what I hear they want to spread Drake's across the US, so most likely Twinkies will drop the name of Hostess and pick up Drake's, so everyone will also be able to get Devil Dogs, Ring Dings, Yankee Doddles, Coffee Kakes, etc

Last time we bought twinkies maybe a year ago? They tasted stale and awfull. Can't say I'd overly miss them..

Thats their normal taste. They have a 45 year shelf life or something like that

well, if the zombie apocaplypse does occur... we'll either have to resort to eating nothing but twinkies and other items with abnormally long shelf-life, or we'll have to hunt squirrels and possums and such. Twinkies sound easier.

Twinkies have a 150 year shelf life... I won't live that long. I better stock up on Twinkies then.
