What's a pension plan?

A plan to build a house out of pens. Social security is going to run out about the time that the world moves all digital. We'll wind up with lots of retired people with no income and a surplus of pens. The pens will be stockpiled around the country in pen stations, which the elderly will break into to build their pen based shanty towns.

I think it's evidence of Darth's envy of Mickey's merchandising ability. I'm pretty sure that's the whole reason he convinced Lucas to sell out to Disney.

What do you hunt with? My FIL lives in the middle of no where (there are no cable wires or wireless internet) and just shoots out of his barn. He hunts for the meat and will trade with others.



If we are hunting up north I use a Remington 770 30-06 and if we go near where I live I use a Remington 870 12 gauge.

Yes, 700 DisDads and their families would be great for business. I am still hoping to retire in Florida and enjoy the weather. I thought about living near WDW but I would then go daily to WDW and would run out of money. We could live near the beach and open a restaurant to get tourism money. While I do have a government pension, it offsets with low pay.

I don't think social security will ever go bankrupt. We may get a reduced benefit or eligibility may be increased to 72.

I've got a birthday coming up this month and as long as I am still this side of 50, I don't think I'm old. in another 10 years when DD is 18 and graduating from HS I might think I'm getting old, but at that point I'll have to work until I'm dead so it won't matter.


DD and DS are off to Kids Club for 2 hours and SWMBO is out of town with the church women for a retreat so I get to do some selective downsizing of things that will never be missed.

I like the analogy of the reason behind the earthquake...there could be a link LOL.. We felt it here too...friends of ours felt it in Columbus, OH. I thought someone was shaking my chair at work trying to get my attention...I ignored them LOL

Just got done watching Aston Villa versus Manchester United. I could have written the script. Villa plays beautifully and jumps to an early lead. Then Untied storms back and rips Villas heart out in the last 20.

I thought about a buffet, and while I can put away the food, I am to the point where I would just prefer having the food brought to me. I could probably do a restaurant with bar food, a bakery, or something like a waffle house. Maybe when I retire. DW wants to make candy and I have enocouraged her to make and sell Christmas candy. While I can run the numbers for sale/profit, she said that she would have to get an approval from the health department to sell them, and they would have to inspect our house prior to as a catering business.

I take it that's a deal breaker. I can do some good generic Italian and Mexican. My specialty is grilling stuff. Problem is, a lot of my grilled stuff takes forever to cook.

One of the most useful things I have seen lately.

G'afternoon, gents.

We got pounded by a good-sized winter storm yesterday and this morning in Utah. When all was said and done we had about six inches of snow on the ground. I took the kids out to build a snow-"mickey"... tougher than I thought from a physics and snow quality standpoint. Ended up with a standard snowman instead.

Wondering if the rest of the nation got hit as well... I had heard the threat of another major storm in the NE.

Oh, and took DW to "Skyfall" last night. Pure awesomeness.

DW informed me last night that Daniel Craig is officially on her "list", joining Hugh Jackman, Colin Firth, Zachary Levi and Chris Hemsworth. The list keeps getting longer... I'm not sure where I rank!
