Evening Guys.

We had our first game of our 2 game total goal semi-final for out Masters soccer league. We are up against the first place team and came away 2 - 2 draw. Second game is Sunday night.

On another note:

Cut me some slack, Jack! Chump don' want no help, chump don't GET da' help!

Anytime is a great time to be in WDW. I think October is great, but I would pick Sept and it's bad heat with MNSSHP, because it has better crowds than even October. Hope the cough has suppressed.

Cough got more manageable afterwards by the time I got to work, ches/stomach was aching fron it though. :rotfl2:

We though about September, but both DW and I want to do the F&W festival, which doesn't usually start till late Sept. Plus DW really doesn't want the heat, when she is exposed to high humid heat, is breaking out in a bad rash and hives. A plus for September though is that there are a few Professional Development days for teachers, so that'd help not losing too many school days. Crowds a couple years ago in Oct were manageable I thought, better then the crowds in Feb wheb they had the Pirate & Princess Parties...

Then I read the reviews on DISboards and others said how bad it was. I wish I had found that sooner.

We don't check reviews enough before we make our dining reservations. Normally it's a trial by error type of process...

Evening gents. Home from the company business meeting in Northern Virginia. Three days of listening to management reviews, "team building", and WAY too many inspirational videos. If you can't tell already, I'm not really inspired...

At least the food was good and the drinks were free.

Oct 6-12 has been hit or miss. Columbus Day weekend usually more crowded (Sat, Sun, Mon) but rest of week is good. I thought it was Ron, but maybe not, who went late October and hit MNSSHP, F&W, & MVMCP. Those are the dates I want to get.

Normally, I don't either. But, I found a I hate Shutters thread.

But, was the money for nothin, and the chicks for free?

Morning, Mike! Always get to see one of our old-timers! ;)

Hope all is well guys!

Things aren't too bad, thanks to some Nucynta (sp). DW is having decent days and not so decent days. We're hoping our planned trip to Pensacola comes off without any hitches. Between her condition and American Airlines, I'm not too sure. We really need to get away!

Morning guys!

I would like to start today off by saying "Today is my Friday!":cool1:. Yes, I have decided not to go to work tomorrow, and instead make it a family Doctor Visit day. We all have eye exams tomorrow and at least one of the girls has a checkup scheduled.

Well I guess that's still better then going into work, hope all goes well with the checkups

And good morning fellow dads, nothing new to report, today's payday so that's about it and DD has soccer today after missing last week due to being on vac ( I don't think she minded though)

That would be sweet indeed. My co-worker is doing just that this year. She's going at the end of the month, doing a MNSSHP and F&W, then doing a Cruise, back, then doing a MVMCP. Someone in there she is doing a run too. :crazy2:

Morning guys....hope everyone's doing well, hopefully that run of bad luck has run it's course (knock on wood). Here is for a run a good news for everyone.
Nothing new or exciting around here, everything's all routine here (which all in all, isn't a bad thing).

Anyone read about this Limited Time Magic Promo for next year at the parks? Some of it looks interesting I think.

Meetings like that are when I remind myself I could be (insert least favorite occupation) for a living. If they want to waste their time trying to "inspire" me and feed me in the process it is their dime.

I spend on average 4-5 hrs a week in meetings, most of which are scheduled for later in the afternoon. I have two that are from 2-3 and one that's 3-4. Who wants to sit in on a meeting that late? That usually means me sitting in traffic, taking an hour and a half or more to get home. So, on Thursday's (that's my late meeting) I leave work at 1:45. I drive home and dial in to the meeting on my work cell. That way I don't half to deal with the afternoon traffic.

I'd be willing to give it a shot and let everyone know how it is. Who is paying?

American Airlines? Doesn't your son have enough pull around there to get Fat Albert to fly you down?

Morning Gents,

I hope you all have a great, sunny and warm Thursday. Remember the weekend is almost here.

Higher pay, shorter hours, and recognition of my efforts. These items are at the top of the list of things that inspire me at work. I'm into page 3 now and still haven't found "crappy videos with bad acting" on the list.
