Mornin' Dads.

Had an outstanding meal at my MIL's house last night.

Beef Stroganoff........

The best part about it.....

I can still smell it on my coat that I wore last night.....Yum!

Have a great day guys!

Making my mouth water way too early this morning!!!:thumbsup2

David… would you or any of the other fell’as up that way care to recommend a nice dinner spot somewhere in the southeast corner of town?
Where exactly are you staying?

Seriously? Isn't that...illegal?
You'd think it should be. :confused3

That is in Andy's area so I will defer to my colleague from there. I only know of the chain spots in the area.
Well, me too to a degree. We rarely ever head up I-74. We typically head over to the Greenwood/Southport areas.

You’d have thought so wouldn’t ya’.
Laws are often more like guide lines down here.

Well… that’s basically where we’ll be camped.
Our school has commandeered a couple of motels in the Southport Road area just off I-65. The kids are already up there and some of the adult volunteers. The rest of the adults (us included) will be arriving across the day.

Congrats. SSR is the only resort at WDW that I have not stayed at yet. Some time.

Congrats. You need to think about an agent.

Five inches of snow last night at SH. The kid was excited and had to run out and play. Posted a few pictures on FB including a snow angel she tried to make. Adding one more here. She brought a friend outside with her and they built Frosty.

Great Pic. We got about 2-3 inches up here. Mostly raining at this point and it will be gone by the end of the day I think. I really hope the last two weeks isn't a sign of things to come.:headache: I guess it's time to get the shovels and snowblower ready just in case.:rolleyes1 How's the sun in Miami. I'm sure it feels good doesn't it?

It is a good area to be in, plenty of options around... however, come to think of it, it is mostly chain stuff around there too. :lmao: Probably several places within walking distance, depending which hotel you're at. You'll likely be within walking distance of a Cheeseburger in Paradise, Steak n Shake, Texas Roadhouse, Bob Evans, Cracker Barrell and Carrabbas. There's also a non-chain place back in there that I think serves steak or something. We've never gone there though, so I have no input on that one.:confused3

I've heard that they've recently opened a Scotty's Brew House around there too. It is a chain, but it is a chain that is relatively new and as far as I know, just in Indiana. They've got typical bar & grill type foods.

If you're going to have wheels, you can have your choice of pretty much anything you'd want within a few minutes drive. If Mark was asking, I'd have to suggest heading one exit south to County Line road and going over to the Greenwood Park Mall area to the Cheesecake Factory. :rotfl2:

Not bad for a Florida girl's first attempt. But what's going on with the triangle shaped base? Is it some kind of snow-woman wearing a skirt?

Congratulations!:cool1: I hope it goes through. We still haven't been able to make the commitment, but still may eventually. We have a little time to decide and it would be nice to have a scheduled trip every year or two.

Thank you everyone on the congrats, I'll let y'all know when it's finalized, faxed the contract over and sending the deposit here in a few

Morning David and everyone else!!

Happy Thursday as well, I'm sitting here in the Residence Inn, gonna start on work soon. As usual got way to much to do, not enough time to get it all done. Taking Friday off, my DD7 has a veterans day thing at her school and I plan on attending. :)

Matt

Good luck at work today! Only a few more hours and it's a long weekend :thumbsup2

MMMmmmmmm... haven't had that in years! :cloud9: Now don't get all caught up in the smell on your coat and try to eat it. :lmao:

Andy's house.
We'll just leave the key under the mat, but don't expect to find much in the fridge. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Volleyball season is over, and DW is now coaching cheerleading. Girl's basketball season starts this weekend, I get to start working on getting bleacher butt. :headache:

On the bright side I'm heading up to West Lafayette Sunday for the Purdue game. Surely basketball season has to be better than football. :confused3 :lmao:

Late afternoon fellow dads, well I finally made the plunge, I put in an offer on a SSR DVC resale and it was accepted! Wasn't my first choice but it ended up being the right price and points for DD and myself so barring any unforeseen issues we will be DVC owners in the coming year

Congrats! The DW and I have been teetering on jumping in and it's bound to happen sooner or later. Possibly during DDC? :confused3

Meh, I have yet to vote for winning politician, so really, what do I know?

There are no winners when it comes to politics. :headache:

BREAKING NEWS: Miami-Dade and other counties in Florida are still counting votes. Embarrassing.
Do they know it doesn't matter anyomore? :lmao: All kidding aside, I'm sure there are local races that people would really like to know the outcome of.

I guess here's a good way to sum up this election. A co-worker made the comment yesterday that we survived 8 years of W, so surely we will survive 8 years of Obama. :lmao::rotfl2:

I'm just waiting for a president that we don't have to say "we survived" his (or her) term in office though. :headache:
It's the 16 years in a row that has me most concerned.:scared1:

It’s a package deal. You buy American… you get a Snooki.

Rumor has it that she is what is keeping China at bay so we might want to hang on to her. Just so long as someone keeps an eye on her. :lmao:

:thumbsup2 Next she'll be making igloos :santa:

Or an ice bar. :lmao:

I'd be willing to try and count 'em though....not the votes mind you.

:goodvibes:goodvibes Way to pitch in.

Glad she had fun. I guess that was between all that homework time.

I just downloaded Angry Birds Star Wars. I can already tell this is going to be a productive day at work. :rolleyes1

Going to find that one now.

Hey, that sounds good. Should I leave now? :rotfl2:

I had dinner with the esteemed Stopher at the Old Spaghetti Factory downtown. That was a good spot.

Andy's house.

Is Andy doing the cooking? Or pouring milk on Lucky Charms, as the case may be?:confused3

On the bright side I'm heading up to West Lafayette Sunday for the Purdue game. Surely basketball season has to be better than football. :confused3 :lmao:

Don't call me Shirley.
