Wait a minute - are you an NFL referee?!?!

Not sure where I would locked in then if that were the case. Wish it was though because then I could call HOLDING - PACKERS #78 (or whatever other player is in my field of view) over and over.:lmao::rotfl2:

Check out the picture on my workplaces Intranet Homepage. :thumbsup2

Cool!

Next Tuesday would have been the day I had circled on the calendar for about 4 years. DD would be in 2nd grade, DS would be starting kindergarten, and I would be working 4x10 hour days, with on day - everything from 7:43 am to 2:35pm - all to myself. Golf, naps, deep fried food, another nap. Carping the heck out of the Diem.
Then my employer forced everyone back to 5x8 hour days and another DS came along. Oh well, at least I can waste work time on the DIS.

:(

"Read the full story on Lunch Break". Yeah, right. Kick you feet up at your desk, take the phone off the hook and read away!

:rotfl2: You have to give them credit for trying.

Afternoon gents. Getting ready to draft what Colts games I will take customers to. The Packers game has already been spoken for by our Milwaukee office. Maybe the Dolphins game :confused3 We could possibly run the score up into the 20's against them :lmao:

We use to have a 4x10 option back in the 90’s.
Back when I use to like my job...

I miss both of those things.

Dang...
:sad2:

yes SIR!.....:rotfl2:

:lmao:

Now that hurts. It is going to be ugly in Miami this year.

At least I have the college game to fall back on. How is Indiana expected to do this year?

Speaking of college football, it is great that the season is finally here. Good game last night, I thought Vandy might pull it off.

Think the Gators will have a good but not great year. 8-4, 9-3. I think the defense is going to be something to watch. Can't wait for Saturday.

The Packers do not hold. The opposing defense just gets tangled in their arms and fall down.

Excellent. When can I be expecting the call from your Milwaukee office about arranging travel?

Indiana has a football team?:confused3

Delaware beat West Chester last night 41-21 to open their season. Still plenty of room on the Blue Hen bandwagon.

Heading out to Sarnia for the weekend. Will log on when the chance arises...have a safe weekend Dads!

The same as always. Maybe 5 wins. We put the U in suck :lmao:

I'll give you their number since the PB'ers took the one game I wanted.

Yes we do have a team, and the Big Ten Champions have to go through us for the title. We are their one guaranteed win a year :lmao:

CRUD! Busy few days here at work. I don't think I'll catch up on the last 30 pages or so that I've missed. Congrats, condolences, happy birthdays, welcome, good luck we're all counting on you. If I missed anything, let me know.

We're getting busy at work now. Harvest has begun and it ain't pretty. I've been busting my tail at work doing chemical tests on corn to test for aflatoxin, as a result of the hot dry summer we've had. So far, we've only had 1 truck go over the FDA threshold, so I guess that is some good news. On the other hand, yields have been even worse than expected. I think it is very safe to say that with some of the late rains we've seen (and some of the remnants of Isaac headed this way) we will see some soybeans that outyield corn. The highest yield I've heard of on non irrigated land so far has been 60 bushels, which is about 100 bushels below average. I had one customer that said they had a field that made 7.9 bushels per acre. :headache:

We have looked at some of our corn, and it is still too wet to get the combine out. I just hope it survives the rain and wind we'll see this weekend and is still standing next week.

Now, for the lighter news... I had a friend who gave me an extra ticket to the Purdue game tomorrow, so I think I'm going to take DS to his first football game. I figure it is Eastern Kentucky so the stands will be half empty and either it will be boring by halftime or so ugly I won't want to see anymore after halftime anyway, so if you're going to take a 2 year old to a game that would be the kind to try.

In a few weeks I might have to start talking some trash... I see that the Thundering Herd will be making a trip to West Lafayette... :rolleyes1

Yes ...they will ....They play WVU this weekend :scared1:

Just finished packing the truck for the weekend, including putting the 21cu in car top carrier on by myself. Already to go once DW gets home. I really wish we were headed the other direction in route to Disney, but we will have fun either way.

I just got done doing yard work today and I think quite possibly it made me feel more than my age today. It handed my butt to me. I feel like passing out right here at the desk. I hate this heat. Cant wait for the fall!!!
