Friday morning ownage

Good morning everyone, I always enjoy waking up and checking out the boards, I'm surprised I slept through the night, haven't done that in awhile, I hope everyone has a great Friday and an even better labor day weekend

Also today is the first day of cutting down to 5 cigarettes prob should of waited till the weekend so I don't go off at coworkers but I've cut down to 8 anyways and it's for 8 days leading to the 7th which marks a month till the Disney trip, I already feel better cutting down from 20ish so just gotta keep it going

Did Tink last January, doing ToT and Wine and fine this year. Talk of marathon and princess as well as Disneyland half in the next 2-3 years

Jealous of the ToT, please let us know if u hear a date for next years while ur down there

So far I don't think there is one, the ToT is end of sept after this years they should announce the dates for next year and hopefully they move it to early oct for both of us, most of the races require a min of 16 min miles so at that rate a fast walk and light running should be alright, but we r both kind of tied to school next year we will just have to keep an eye out and see dates for next few years , ur doing cruise instead of wdw next year right ?

Something to keep in mind is at RunDisney events from what I can gather the corrals are populated by when you register, the sooner you register the more of a padding you will have on that 16 min mile. The click on the pace doesn't start till the last corral leaves the finish line. Another thing is the pace from what I gather is more friendly at WDW since the race is on property. So register early and train, you can do it.

Happy its finally Friday! Also happy to be off the road for a few days. Anytime I go to corporate I feel like I'm wasting my time. Go figure.

Started reading Kingdom Keepers to my youngest last night, she seems to be enjoying it so far. Only made it 1 chapter in before she rolled over and started to snuggle down. She did seem pretty excited that there are 4 or 5 books now. I have never read them myself, so I'm pretty excited to see how they go myself.

Well almost done with work for the week. Then off to Eau Claire Wi and maybe the twin cites. Hope to see some old friends and relax for a few days.

Just want to let you guys know that Juliana had her oncologist appointment on Monday and she continues to be cancer free. It was 5 years ago (August) when that last push of chemo entered her body. Her x-rays, ultrasound, and bloodwork came back normal. This is her 5 year mark and we can officially say she is in remission.

So glad to hear this.

So I was thinking of beating the Beverly record.....but after one taste we decided better of it. Yuck!

Now you know exactly why we use the name of the stuff as profanity.

And, DW & I celebrate being happily married for 3 years September 2. In total, we have been married 12 years. I bought her roses earlier in week, and we are going to bourbon bar Saturday to celebrate.

And a happy anniversary to you sir.

So… only three years have been happy, or it only seems like three years rather then 12?
Regardless of the answer, bourbon is always a fine plan.

When you start getting ultra high reading on the “Suck-o-Meter”, just drop in over here and vent all you want.
We don’t mind, and it saves on the general wear and tear on the coworkers.

I am about half way through book 1 with my DD. She really doesn't take to reading , but loves the daddy time and really seems to enjoy the KK book. My DS and I have read all of them and the next one is out Apr. 2013. Have fun reading them. You'll find yourelf saying, "hey, I remember that" and "I'm going to look for that next time I go". It really makes it a lot of fun.

A wish for all the DisDads to have a great Labor Day weekend! (Do they celebrate that in Canada)

Good luck with quitting. I never did smoke cigarettes, but have friends and family that have gone through it. We're all here for you!

It appears as though the honey do list is growing as we speak and new "ideas" for other projects keep coming from swmbo! She has now informed me that she would like to have new carpet in the family room and also new furniture.....what happened to just slapping a coat of pain on things???
