I hope they does well, gives me a good reason to travel to WDW in September/October
.

We really like October for Fall Break (Columbus Day week) but Septmeber was even better. September had really small lines.

I had a bad knock-down-drag-out fight with the ex over my son and the Labor day weekend, in the end I think I am better off, both in life and this weekend.
Ok done with that..

Sorry to hear that.

Yes. Yes I do.

Just want to let you guys know that Juliana had her oncologist appointment on Monday and she continues to be cancer free. It was 5 years ago (August) when that last push of chemo entered her body. Her x-rays, ultrasound, and bloodwork came back normal. This is her 5 year mark and we can officially say she is in remission. :yay::yay: :yay::yay:

That is great news.

Sounds fun.

Sounds good. Training for that marathon already?

Sounds like a great idea. I'll have DW send you my list as well. Feel free to stop by and get those done. Maybe you can install that kegerator Don never got to.

Everyone knows a marathon always starts and ends with dumplings, Disney gives a 18 week training plan once I kick the habit I'll work on getting in shape somewhat and then start the plan lol but from what I understand they always eat pasta after a race

I've been waiting for someone to post " yea I had a horrible time hanging out with you, next time you couldn't pay me to do so, I would rather chew my own foot off" well I guess I can always hope Norm feels that way about me in Oct haha :)

I wouldn't say that about you. Think it? Well, :confused3

Happy Thursday Peeps! Doing some Amazon Shopping on my break!

Pick me up something nice. Waiting by the mailbox.

Good Morning/Afternoon

I was just trying to transfer files from DW's laptop to my PC, hanging picture frames, printing pics for DD's autograph book (from 2008!), and catching up on the DIS, and I'm starting to think DW may be right. Perhaps I do suffer from ADD... .

We don't suffer from ADD, because we change to another topic too quickly to miss it.

I will add all that to my current list!:rotfl2:

Which one are we running? What is the last date I can back out of running?

Sorry forgot to sneak in your house last night and unplug your phone for you... I'll try to do better. By the way...that Minnie Mouse Night gown you were wearing... great choice. :lmao:
:

You two are adults, so do whatever. But, that is way TMI!

I know why we’re “supposedly” have a long weekend, but what are y’all “celebrating”?
.

Our 12th anniversary. It has been a Labor every year. :lmao:

She turned me into a newt!
?

I got better though. Burn her.

Keep in mind that if your phone is Canadian, then multi-quoting is disabled.

Only on the Brian issued models.

Top of the morning fellas. Woke up earlier than normal thinking about WDW :thumbsup2

That is really early, even for you.

No problem! He still has another season with them. This weekend, he's in Cleveland for a show.

Great pics. Thanks for posting.

I should of planned my last post better but good news I remembered to actually plug my phone into the wall, cannot wait for that wireless power haha,
As many know I've been trying to quit smoking the attempt a few weeks ago didn't fully work so my new plan has done some good, I spent 2 weeks and I cut down to half a pack from a full pack and now I'm goin to cut down to 5 for a week with the goal being to quit on the 7th and when our trip rolls around it'll be a month since I quit so trying to put some meaning behind it

Norm, I've been reading that if they do another ToT race then they will post next years dates shortly after this years so we can hope they move next years into oct and hopefully be easier on us both with kids in school

And finally good morning everyone and welcome to all new members, I'm just glad I'm not the new newbie anymore, the hazing was brutal :)

Brutal hazing. :lmao:

Morning Guys!

Last morning in the hotel (for this week). Will most likely be back up and on the road the week of 10 Sept. Give me something to look forward to... Nothing like an hour and a half presentation to go over 140 slides and allow for questions.

Matt

Now, that is brutal.

Morning gentlemen

Woke up to a panicked wife saying something was wrong with the car. It was just the motor mounts. So I am up early cleaning and waiting for the coffee maker to finish. :headache:

Loved the Blue Angels pics.

Yeah, something rubbing under my car when I press on the brakes. I'll need to get that checked out.

Alarm clock went off this morning, and in my blurry, floggy, mostly-still-sleeping state I had to think - where am I? Then the answer came - Crap, I'm at home. No more magic, time to go back to work. Then finish unpacking. Then sort through a few thousand pictures and video. Then..., well that's enough to have to think about for now.

Did I miss anything?

welcome back.

When I am awake I cant go back to sleep!

Getting ready to do a podcast, its been awhile :cool1:

So far I don't think there is one, the ToT is end of sept after this years they should announce the dates for next year and hopefully they move it to early oct for both of us, most of the races require a min of 16 min miles so at that rate a fast walk and light running should be alright, but we r both kind of tied to school next year we will just have to keep an eye out and see dates for next few years , ur doing cruise instead of wdw next year right ?

Thursday night ownage.

Yes, David theduck and his family and my family are going on the DisDad cruise. Steve had the recruiting cruise trip, but we are doing the convention. So far, it exists of the two of us. After watching all the POTC movies, we are confident in our mutiny skills and hijack the boat for permanent vacations.

I walked out of the house and next thing I know I'm face down on the ground, getting handcuffed... :rotfl2:!!

Philip and Nate had a nightgown you could borrow. May have made Bubba's visit go smoother.

fall break?? you mean columbus day weekend?

We get the 5 school days off that week.

How many more posts does Don need before he can start reading PMs??

:lmao: :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao:

Don't be jealous of my Minnie mouse nightgown Norm, what cruise y'all taking, I've been looking at some but not sure if I should wait till DD is a little older?

What a long week. Coordinated 175 kids onto 20 teams. Led coaches clinic, hurt ankle wrapped, for 25 coaches/asst coaches. Then, rules meeting with the other 50 for other divisions. Our first soccer practice tonight - always fun to meet new players. My dds team returns 2 players and 5 new ones. I have a lot of good athletes, but not great system players. It may be a tough season. But, my ankle has held up so I am thankful for that.

On the work front, finished 1/2 a jumbo project. Need to start on next 1/2. Had another 500 travel miles this week.

On the home front, my car sounds like it is dragging something, and when I press the breaks, it sounds terrible. Time for another trip to the mechanic. And, DW & I celebrate being happily married for 3 years September 2. In total, we have been married 12 years. I bought her roses earlier in week, and we are going to bourbon bar Saturday to celebrate.

All caught up for now. Soccer and work are interfering with my Dis time.

The 4 night Bahama trip on the Dream. I know everyone says I'll love the cruise, but I'm not used to spending this much money at WDW anymore since DVC members. I'm planning on this being a 1 & done, and just hope mine will be old enough to remember it. (11 & 9 at sailing)

Age is the key, when I was younger my parents took us on quite a few cruises, what to I remember from the first( the boat had a cinema) the 2nd (went to a topless beach which was awesome ) so age does play a roll that's why I'm debating on waiting awhile, soccer sounds like its moving along good, I'm sure you will keep us updated

Anyone guess where we are tonight?

Didn't realize you had so much free time on your hands. You might want to look into some kind of hobby... ;)
