Got home Tuesday and back to work Wednesday. Still unpacking at home and about to fall asleep at my desk.

It was great meeting you and Brian. Sorry I could not spend more time with you guys, but I did not want to create any family drama. I missed Ron as our schedules never seemed to mesh.

I've been waiting for someone to post " yea I had a horrible time hanging out with you, next time you couldn't pay me to do so, I would rather chew my own foot off" well I guess I can always hope Norm feels that way about me in Oct haha

Good Morning/Afternoon!!

DW went back to work today. Just me and the kiddies at home. Needless to say, they are both still in their pajamas. I'll probably get them changed after lunch.

I was just trying to transfer files from DW's laptop to my PC, hanging picture frames, printing pics for DD's autograph book (from 2008!), and catching up on the DIS, and I'm starting to think DW may be right. Perhaps I do suffer from ADD...

Top of the morning fellas. Woke up earlier than normal thinking about WDW

was it the happy thoughts/memories of trips, or the depressing "why am I here when I want to be there" thoughts??

And now I'm adding to my total! I might hit double digits on this thread!

As per Chris' request, here are some photos of my son at the Baltimore Air Show in June. He is still the Crew Chief for the Blue Angels #1 jet and he's still the tall, thin guy.

I should of planned my last post better but good news I remembered to actually plug my phone into the wall, cannot wait for that wireless power haha,
As many know I've been trying to quit smoking the attempt a few weeks ago didn't fully work so my new plan has done some good, I spent 2 weeks and I cut down to half a pack from a full pack and now I'm goin to cut down to 5 for a week with the goal being to quit on the 7th and when our trip rolls around it'll be a month since I quit so trying to put some meaning behind it

Norm, I've been reading that if they do another ToT race then they will post next years dates shortly after this years so we can hope they move next years into oct and hopefully be easier on us both with kids in school

And finally good morning everyone and welcome to all new members, I'm just glad I'm not the new newbie anymore, the hazing was brutal

Keep it up with trying to quit!! I know you can do it!! I too am wondering about the ToT race next year. Is it too much to hope that F&W, MNSSHP, AND the ToT race will all coincide on one of DW's extended weekends off from school??? probably.

Woke up to a panicked wife saying something was wrong with the car. It was just the motor mounts. So I am up early cleaning and waiting for the coffee maker to finish.

I am no mechanic, but I believe it helps if the motor is mounted (and stays mounted)

Alarm clock went off this morning, and in my blurry, floggy, mostly-still-sleeping state I had to think - where am I? Then the answer came - Crap, I'm at home. No more magic, time to go back to work. Then finish unpacking. Then sort through a few thousand pictures and video. Then..., well that's enough to have to think about for now.

Did I miss anything?

hmmm... good question. Now that you mention it, I did see a blimp in the air, and lots of teenage girls running around the neighborhood. Not sure if the blimp was some kind of inator or not. The girls may or may not have been trying to bust their brothers.

Oh, and I haven't seen my platypus anywhere.

Same here. They are having their grilled cheese lunches in their PJs...after lunch will get them ready for the pool. Today I promised a double pool day, we're going to both the afternoon and evening sessions, then that'll be it for this year. Going away for the weekend tomorrow, so that'll be it for the pool till next year.

I had a bad knock-down-drag-out fight with the ex over my son and the Labor day weekend, in the end I think I am better off, both in life and this weekend.

That race will be a great reason to go down next year, sorry about the ex, I use to have those with my DDs mom until I got full custody
