wow I am a posting fool in this thread. This is my whopping 5th time I posted here. At this rate I will be setting all kinds of post records.
I think they expect a 7 at MK on 10-10 which I don't understand for a wed but a 5 for HS on 10-9 which should be awesome , don't fully understand the ratings but we will have a blastIamTrike said:Most of the times we've been its been 6-9s this was the least crowded its ever been for us so it was a neat change. Between being religious about making rope drop and following a tour plan I think we still do about as much when it's crowded.
You'll be at Disney of course you'll have a blast.

This time of year is great. The parks were not crowded at all last week. When we went to see the princesses we were the only people in line and got to spend 15 minutes or so with them un-interrupted with them playing and talking with our kids.

There seem to be a lot of things that impact the crowds. During the fall MNSSHP runs some nights during the weeks. On those days MK closes at 7 and so the crowd levels are typically lower before 4 pm when the hard ticket holders can get in. They were also only running Main Street Electrical Parade on certain nights. During the 5 days we were there, there was only one night when non-party ticket holders could see Wishes and MSEP. MK was slammed on that night comparatively. Extra Magic Hours can also impact a parks crowd levels.I think they expect a 7 at MK on 10-10 which I don't understand for a wed but a 5 for HS on 10-9 which should be awesome , don't fully understand the ratings but we will have a blast

Brent - Ugggg... lice sucks. Not easy on anyone at home. Hopefully you get through that quick.
David - You were in the exciting and magical world, why would you even think to return? I put it into perspective. When I am not at WDW I make the best of it at home.
- I crank up the Aerosmith tumes in the car while I am driving to work. That takes care of Test Track and RnRC
- I run into people I haven't seen for a while and say "It's a Small World"
- And I work with a bunch of Dumbo's

Agreed. September is fantastic. I still tell people about walking through the queue for Big Thunder Mountain and getting to the front, and having the CM's say, "Ah, just pick whatever car you want to ride in."![]()

He thinks it is related to her migraines combined with school related stress. She had a Cat scan last year when she had the eye problem which was clean, so he is holding off doing another for now. He prescribed a drug that should counter it. After a while they will wean her off the medication. Hopeful that it works. We are both breathing a little easier for now.
Really tough when you kid is sick and you aren't there to do anything about it. She handled it like a trooper.

Morale has been spotty.
I've got all the laundry under way, last load washing. save some other non-related clothes I'll get to later or tonight. All their bedding is changed and washed, all stuffed toys sealed up for two weeks (this broke Amelia's heart, her beloved Wolf stuffie is gone for a bit.) DW did the treatments and combed/hunted through their hair. Girls in bed finally, still lots to do though. We both took tomorrow off to deal.
Thanks for the shoulder guys...
Prayers...

NOT going to be a good week. Manager just got news he's been promoted, so he's gone, being replaced with a guy with a big rep for making people miserable. Long list of grievences with the union etc.
Got home to find out both kids caught lice again. Now I've got a long night of cleaning to do.
I am not a happy camper right now.
Morning guys.
90 degrees and sunny down here in the islands.
And I'm in an office.
Have a great day all.
OK, breath. In-out-in-out.
I'm sure it will work out. It's usually not as bad as everyone makes it. Sorry to hear about the lice. It has gone around these parts every year, luckily (knock on wood) the kids haven't gotten it. Just remember: we are all in your corner if you need to vent.![]()
Maybe the trick is to come up with something positive...let's see...
I know! Leafs are not in last place yet!
(yet...)

we were just talking about the crowd levels this morning. last week was great. the place was empty. this week, alot more people. epcot / mk / studios. sunday it really picked up around here. we were thinking the locals. but monday and tuesday have been food and wine crowds at epcot and back to wait lines at the mk.
RodBelding said:Are the food and wine places around world showcase open? I thought they didn't start until next friday, but earlier is better!
A lockout has that effect![]()
Yet.......give them time.
Sad part is I'm a Leafs fan![]()
