Just discovered DISDADS this morning, I think its awesome, Taking my 4 year old daughter to DW in OCT and very excited about it. We have our costumes for MNSSHP all ready to go, everything basically all set up. A friend of mine laughed when I said we were staying in the LM rooms @ AoA resort and asked if I wish I had a boy instead, told her im proud to have a lil girl and all the fun stuff we get to do, any good tips for a dad taking a 4 yr old for the first? it will be my daughter,myself and my mom and we have CC reservations and BBB reservations before MNSSHP

Welcome! Having a daughter is a great joy! Glad you're embracing it! Certainly this is a group that is not afraid to live their passions. Sounds like a great trip already! MNSSHP is one I my favorite things to do at WDW.

Some people question me when I tell 'em about my Disney obsession, and say "Oh, what you do for the kids"... I laugh it off, but sometimes I think it's really more like..."Oh, what my kids do for me..."

Tips for taking a 4 year old the first time... Go at her pace, allow her to absorb and immerse herself in the Disney Magic.

Buy Photopass in advance.

Make sure you plan a couple of Character Meals.... Princesses are ALWAYS a hit at that age.

Most importantly - HAVE FUN!

My mom's birthday on Tuesday... Going to have them up today either for Dinner here, or we go out for Dinner.

They live in a Condo and have no Barbecue... so outdoor grill is always a hit.

Nope. He's my nemesis. I get first dibs on additional funds on the card.

Brian and Norm are gaining on me. My view from the top was nice while it lasted.

It just takes the wherewithal to make lots of mundane posts.

Just haven't seen you much over here. I go to the other sight and read the top 5 or other stuff but forget to click on the boards. Maybe Aaron needs to make it a bigger button for me to click on. and so it begins...

I left the truck I usually drive with the mechanic on station for an oil change on Friday and I was going to load the truck for the meeting today. Dead battery. No jumper cables and they don't give me a key for the maintenance shop. I decided to just buy a new battery but and after about 15 minutes got one connection removed and went to look at the other one but didn't even attempt it. Completely rounded off. So I unloaded all the tomato stakes in the bed of the 2nd truck and will be off to the meeting a couple hours later than I had planned. Now I will get to return to the holler tomorrow to switch trucks after the mechanic replaces the battery. At least I won't have to man the registration table all afternoon trying to give directions to buildings I don't know where they are.

An awful lot of shameless post padding going on over the last 24 hours. Must be I have people frightened that I will sneak up through the ranks. That is a possibility with 3.5 days worth of meetings coming up assuming I have a connection in the lecture hall.
