Nope instead of that, I bought a lens that cost as much.

Unfortunately, I did that pre-SWMBO when I had time and money. Now I have camera gear for my STX-1 that never gets used. Thought about putting it on the "bay" but not happy about projected income.

At least I didn't invest heavily in cassettes or 8-tracks (those were what music come on for you younger guys)

CRUD and more CRUD Looks like I will have to work at it to keep my place on the list. Quick trip out of town yesterday to see the kids final day of swimming lessons. I would say DS is now a "swimmer". Ugly, but pretty sure he can keep from drowning. DD, not so much. This is a girl who wanted to ride the Diamondback at Cedar Point when she was five, but is afraid of the water. Maybe next year. DS made great strides between 8-10 years old so hopefully she will as well.

swimming doesn't have to be pretty. If it keeps you from drowning, you're doing it right! Hopefully DD will overcome her fear.

If I ever get bored I will go back and see what pearls of wisdom I missed.

Thanks. They won both games. Champs.

She was 3-3 in the first game with 2 RBIs. She was 2-2 in second game and scored 2 runs off hits from teammates. She did not have a chance at any defensive plays at catcher or outfield. Now, at Pizza Hut with team celebrating.

Way to go DD! Congrats to the Champs!!
