Should I go back and read anything in the 6 pages that sprouted over the last 2 hours, or was it mostly just post padding???![]()
Trust your instincts.

Not everyone takes it seriously. I prefer to have fewer posts, but to make sure they are well thought out, on topic, have a clear and concise meaning and contribute to the overall good of the Dis Dads. That being said...DO we really worry about post count??? Seriously? or a Joke?

Hi Ian! Joining the Homeschool DisDads Alliance this year.
Will do as soon as Barry sends the recipe. I'll let you know when it is in the mail.
A Canadian and a certain Kentuckian take this very seriously. Occasionally others have spurred the race for the finish (but Stopher is busy with his new business and hasn't posted a lot). Fights have been known to break out on occasion. I usually just stay out of the way so I don't get run over.
Hey Ian. I need to get over "there" more. Don't be a stranger over here.

I had some pretty impressive dribble back there. Totally worth your time to read. No, really, it is. I made fun of Canada again!
Mounties don't count.

Lighter one for sure. And that's just towkids being twokids. I think he's getting igloo fever up there waiting for the summer thaw.

Yeah but I don't need some thread count trophies lol.

I've been busy so much that by the time I usually get here there's 50 some pages to catch up on. The slower speed of the other site helps a lot so that I only have to read 10 pages or so to know what was going on.![]()
Things get crazy 'round here at closing time.
Looks like there's a glimmer of sunshine coming over the snow covered peaks.

I thought it was "drivel".![]()
I've been tempted to take the kids outside all day. There's been a line of thunderstorms passing just north of us all day. The kids have had enough of each other. I'm debating either taping them together back to back or making a line in the family room that neither can cross to bother the other.![]()
Whispering Canyon is going to be a blast. The DDC may start and end the same night.

Did you ask for ketchup? That was probably one of our favorite meals of our last trip. 2nd only to Teppan Edo.Didn't really like WCC. That big drink they have there is good.
How long do these threads go before someone makes a new one?
The "race to the finish" usually starts around page 200ish. It's usually a blitz - people posting random funny pictures, vacation pictures, odd bits of nonsense. Don tries to start the new thread during that time. The moderators will shut the thread down somewhere around 250 pages. Sometimes later, depending on how fast we're moving and if they're paying a lot of attention at that time. It's not uncommon to blow through 50 or more pages in just a few hours.
I am not going to compete in this lol, but I will keep up my end and keep participation on my part here.
Sorry, but you're competing anyways, even if you refuse...![]()
