That's how I normally cook bacon. :thumbsup2

I like mine crispy, but WOW:scared1:

You wouldn't use fire on the little kitty, would you?

Love that saying. Had it said about me a few times by my Southern relatives.

Also playing with the start of the TR. But even that is a halfhearted attempt.

Yeah, don't strain yourself.

The Mets?? I think I have heard of them. They are that farm team that plays out in Queens right? :rotfl2:

Ouch.

(this space reserved for witty comeback, if I can ever think of one)

Oops. :rotfl2:

Wifecom came out, looked at me...then shook her head and went back in side....(I'm getting that more and more out of her...:lmao:)

Your wife doesn't have a sister in Indiana named Kim does she :lmao:

Must have another sibling here in KY. DW has been shaking her head and rolling her eyes at me for years.

Thats funny right there, I dont care who you are!

So, I spoke with SWMBO today and she wants me to look at making reservations again for WDW over Thanksgiving...but maybe look at ASM or Pop instead of POR. Im a little leery due to fundage and A/C issues, or fundage issues due to A/C. What do you guys think I should do?

Matt

Well, I tried to pull off another trip this summer the budget didn't work. So, if it doesn't fit in the budget, then to can't do it. Now, if you plan to skip the AC in lieu of Disney World, then it works.

Ok, there's a huge flaw in your planning. If you're going to be in Cleveland and Cincinnati and plan to see a baseball game, you've picked the wrong city.

Reds are doing pretty good this year.

Well boys, I did it again. I can't help myself. It's like a compulsion. It's Tuesday, and we all know what that means. Airfare sales! Yes, I went to Southwest's website and checked the prices of the flights we have booked for next month. Sure enough, the departing flight price dropped, again. So I rebooked it, again. And added to the credit I have to use in January, again. (That works best when you read it in a Forrest Gump voice).

Only flaw in your logic is that you are getting credits and not $, therefore you won't get to save any money until you spend more. Hmmm, spend money to save money. You must work on Wall Street.

.

You forgot an open wallet. Oh, and be prepared to drink your face off if you want. I'd stay away from any mixed drinks.... they all tend to be watered down:

I'm planning on bringing on our own. Did they have Yuengling draft? I might pay for draft beer, but that is about it.

I guess if you order a drink on the rocks they can't water that down. :rotfl2:

Drink of the day in a souvenir glass? $9!

I bought the DCL 22oz glass mug and was getting it filled with draft beers for $5.

Bought a bottle of wine for $29

The frozen drinks in a regular glass were $6

That's about all we drank... I didn't get any shots or anything on the rocks. Next time I'll carry on a few bottles of Grey Goose or something. :rolleyes1

To bad it wasn't $5 for unlimited draft beers.

Any March trips planned would be on the front page. That is if those going during that time have PM'd Don to tell them they are going to be in WDW during that time.

And if he ever bother to read it.

Definite CRUD so I'll pass on the catching up.

Issues with the co-"worker" are resolved until the next one. A gentle answer turneth away wrath. Invoking only slightly veiled threats of involving higher admin over less than $5 worth of produce for a non-foul also helps.

Looks like the house refinance may go through if the moon is in the seventh house and Jupiter aligns with Mars. Leaving Sunday for a 4 day meeting. The paperwork has to be here by Friday AM so I can sign and get notarized and then overnight to SWMBO. She then needs to sign and get notarized and postmarked by Tuesday it won't happen. Last time I needed anything notarized I had to go to the next county and was fortunate the notary was in.

Sadly I no longer even care. The extra $50/month is needed and it saves us a year on the mortgage but honestly, I'm just getting tired.

Twenty three hours in already this week, we are behind on everything and found out today that all the other program areas know of a visit by the highest level administration coming up in less than 2 weeks. The same co-"worker" who had issues with produce hasn't seen fit to tell us yet.

Good news to end the rant though, I am still on the green side of the sod.

I think DW is right. That's exactly what I did during the first cruise.

Never encourage her. She must never think she is right. Plus, she drops by to snoop everynow and then.

I just bought DVC resale and it was a great decision and cheaper than direct buy. Plus I guess I now am neighbors with Norm.

And further, I'm a total noob to the boards and cannot multiquote to save my soul.

Yeah, I'm not a selling point. Multi quote by pressing the little quote button next to the word "quote". It will turn red. Then, hit quote or post and they will all appear. Unless you are on the app, then different.

Our family babysitter, who now is at UK (go cats), is in his 2nd year in the Colts (Dubuque). He's like family to us so we see him every chance we can. Best of luck to your son and see you in Indy soon.

Good taste in basketball teams.

Hmmm... I just imagined a super split-stay trip where you spend at least one night at every DVC resort... DW would never go for it though. :rotfl2:

Absolutely hate split stays. In the beginning, we booked days at WDW and used my hotel points for free nights before the trip. Hated packing and unpacking. Said no more. One trip, we did Vero and OKW split stay. Again, I hated the split stay. I really do not like to pack and unpack during vacation. Right now, the DL/ Aulani split stay is on for 2020. Hopefully, airfare will drop or I can hit the lottery before then and avoid the split stay. Clearly, the better chance of those two is me winning the lottery.

So I will get it all out of my system now. Dress warm, drink your milk, stop hitting your sister, I dont care if everyone else is doing it, and no you cant spend the night.

I think you got them all except for no eating after midnight.

Almost the whole party got sick at the Dells. So most everyone was out of commission for a day of the trip. Otherwise everyone had a blast. We also now know the kids can handle the long car ride to Orlando. Just make sure they have plenty of batteries for their Leap Pads.

We have the portable DVD player for the car with two screens, otherwise known as lifesaver.

Tuesday ownage.

Norm, you guys thinking 1st or 2nd weekend of August for a visit to Indy?

First weekend. Let me confirm it her and I'll get back to you. We also had a Mammoth Cave trip planned, so let me see what she wants to do.

Glad to hear it has been resolved. The monthly payment on our refi wasn't significant, but saving a whole Year's worth of payments certainly was.

Glad to hear you stool had some fun. Hope everyone is feeling better.
We stool had a great time. :rotfl2:

The problem with the place we stayed was their theme park was geared to a bit older crowd. When the kiddos are about 8 they'd be perfect for the coasters and go carts.

Visited Mammoth Cave last summer. Very cool. And not just temperature wise.

We have a notaries at our bank, there is always someone who can notarize when they are open. Not sure how things are in the hollers.

But you didn't stop by for a visit.

Unfortunately that was before I started mailing you stuff and didn't know you had a Bourbon Bar nearby. Would have enjoyed some good BBQ and knocking a few back with you.

Have to tell you that it was beautiful country. Really enjoyed the trip. One stop was here.

Yes to all the above. Makers Mark is great, still my favorite. Although, I plan to sample all 100 bourbons from the bourbon bar before I make a specific choice. Need to be thorough in that research.
