I DID IT!!!

Back at the beginning of March, I set a goal to lose 40lbs by the time we went on vacation. that gave me about 21 weeks to do it. Here I am, 18 weeks into it, and I've reached that goal.

anything else in the next 3 weeks is gravy, and the best part is that I know that even if I gain some of it back, I'm capable of losing it again.

Congrats!!! And, if you weren't holding the camera/phone, it probably would have been 199.9!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

After going to Sesame Place again today, sunglasses are your friend:lmao:, you never know when you might spot a wardrobe malfunction:cool2:

Happy Saturday everyone :thumbsup2

Morning David and the rest of you late risers. At least I get to see a new part of 2 states today. I'm just hoping my attitude improves before I meet up with the grower. He violated one of my few rules for fruit producers, "If you can't water it, don't plant it."

Be careful, you might end up on double secret probation too.

The classics never die. Although, "get off my lawn" got a picture post. Maybe Animal House has lost its edge.

Cooler weather on the way for early next week but the drought situation doesn't show much sign of easing.

Supposed to be cooling off here as well. Good news.

Happy Saturday everyone :thumbsup2

Late sleeping in this AM, eh? (I'm practicing my Canadian for the Falls trip)

Good morning everyone! On a day trip today!

Where you going?

I can put a side menu together, love it!!
The biggest about running your own restaurant is that it is the biggest time suck ever. I have come to the conclusion that if im going to work hard I'm going to play harder!!

Uxbridge is the trail capital of Canada. You can hike the trails and if you geocache there are some decent caches around town and on the trails.
!

Eh, if it's bout hardwork, I try to avoid it. I looked up Uxbridge on the map. Don't go trying to dissuade me on taking the trip by talking about exercise. I already got a great rental set up on a moose shoveling the ice roads for me. Still looking for a truck or hover car to go over them.

Have to brag a little. The Pirate Princess got her scores for her International Baccalaureate finals. AND SHE PASSED. Not only did she get her HS diploma, but she added the IB diploma. She has worried about for the last few weeks. A lot of that stress just vanished.

Congrats again to Crash CJ.

Off to the hardware store to buy chains and locks for the doors. They are going to have to blast me out of here.

Yeah, because living in tropical Miami must really be terrible. Keep on shutting up.

Congrat's... That is AWESOME!
Heck to celebrate, I say CHINESE BUFFET!

Oh wait, maybe that's why I can't lose that weight.

That is a great idea. The buffets around here have really gone downhill though. But, it still sounds like a great idea.

I carried my youngest dd (now 8) to bed the other night and managed to tweak my back again. It is not bad, but I can feel it when I try to stand up. I had hoped I had completely rested it since the last time, but apparently, not. Next week is the the last week of softball for dd before they enter the tournament. They are still undefeated thus far, although, have to play 3 consecutive games next week. I guess it is good tournament preparation.

We are supposed to get some cooler temperatures today. Thankful for that.

Mornin' Guys.....

Stuck at work today. Any holidays we get off during the week count as our day off.

Gonna be late to my family reunion because of that beverly of a rule!

:beach:

Gotta earn those days!!!!

We have to do some cleaning up 'round the place... got some company coming next weekend.

:sad2:

What part of va are you? I have family in Newport news area.

I'm in Central VA, but we do have a few other dads that are over that way.

That is good news. I feel your pain. When this little storm called Andrew came through, we went without power for weeks. Back then our water was on a pump so not electricity, no water. Took showers in back yard when it rained. Electricity is a good thing.

That is good news there...hope the air is working fine. Also hope everyone else is back in power too

Congrats on the power. I would take that wood off your hands if you were closer.

Glad the power is back! Can you burn that wood in a gas fireplace? :confused3

Thanks all. Air Condition is a VERY good thing. Just ask Dave.

DW and DDs came home yesterday after spending the week at the in-laws. I'm pretty sure that DW would have come home yesterday even if we didn't have power and A/C. Time spent with family is good. Too much time spent with family sometimes isn't good...

My parents came up yesterday to help with the clean up effort. We were able to saw up all of the trees that were down in the yard and clean up the majority of the branches and other debris. I sent him home with a truck load of Poplar and Locust wood but cannot repay them for coming 1 1/2 hours to work in 95 degree heat to help clean up my yard.

In a period of about six hours, I went through four big bottles of water and two Gatorades. I have many more trees down on other parts of the property, but they can wait until fall when the heat is gone.

We'll head out to restock the fridge today and maybe to finally go see Brave. I plan on spending as much time as possible in the cool.

It's good to have family close by in times on need like this.

Glad everything is slowly getting back to normal! :thumbsup2
