Thanks Ron.... I appreciate that. ;)

Just did the shot, I don't do that shot for just anyone since it's the last bottle I have and they haven't made it in over 10 years:thumbsup2, it is a smooth burning 100 proof shot that I followed with a rum & coke chaser:thumbsup2

From last week, DW's first ever attempt at a princess-cake. A lot cheaper then the $60 they wanted at the shop.

Audrey LOVED it, that's all that mattered.

:thumbsup2 Awesome

Morning guys

First day back in the office since the surgery. Have to say I didnt really miss it all that much. Alot of paperwork to do, and I have a meeting this afternoon with the big wigs. Thankfully its a dial in, as I dont need the added stress.

Matt

Morning Gentlemen!

One more cool day and then a stretch of 95+ for at least five days. Burn bans in effect and the drought situation is worsening but unlike many I can irrigate. The big problem with drought for me is my bees get mean with nothing to forage on and it means no honey for me this year.

Morning folks...

Another day in paradise. Went diving today. I only did the first dive but was able to grab a few pics and videos. Here is one of The Pirate Princess holding a lobster.

Sower and then dinner. Nothing much tomorrow AM until we get ready for the night/Manta ray dive. Having a good time.

Sweet pic...first thing that pops into my head: ROCK LOBSTER! :lmao:

Here I was waiting for a Hudson Hawk reference, but that'll do.

That was on the other night and I missed it. I like that movie, but can barely remember the quotes. Will have to pop in the DVD when I am off next.

As long as you were missed at work, that's all that matters...

Got a call from the boss last night, giving me some heads up on the new troublemaker chick. Apparently already playing games. :headache: And of course, she's in today when I run shift, so he gave me a low-down on what to expect. Yep, things are improving SO MUCH. :sad2::mad:

Top of the morning fella's :thumbsup2

Work sucks... but not working sucks more. :thumbsup2

Good luck with the crops...

Morning folks...

Morning Brent... now get back to work to drunken up us Canucks!

Morning dads.

Haven't read much of the last couple of days - sick on Sunday and Monday, and yesterday was a whole slew of activities. The good news is that we are heading to the in-laws in a couple of days, which means that I get a few days of sanctioned naps on the couch.

Looks like you and the Princess are having a Great time CJ!

For your Disneyland trip, I have a Racers tip for you, Single Rider Line!

Wish I knew about this last week. :sad2:

Holy Heat!! Tomorrow Indianapolis is supposed to be 104 :scared1:

Thats 14 degrees hotter than Orlando :confused3

Who knew we were the new "hot spot"

Lake County but it's a city of Hammond permit requirement. I didn't believe DW when she told me that after she went to get the permit so I called them myself. I shudder to think how someone could mess up the digging of a hole. I had the utilities located by 811 so I wouldn't hit anything. It's just a 4' picket fence so I only had to go 2' down and wasn't in danger of hitting anything.

When I built my deck, I had to take pictures of the holes I dug with a tape measure showing they met the county's specifications for diameter/depth, and submit them for approval. So it's not just you.

Later, when the inspector was looking it over for my CO, he tried to hold me up for using "only" 2x8 boards instead of the 2x10's I had called for in my plans. Never mind that the 2x8's still met the code (which called for 2x6 minimum). I had to dig out the plans that the County Engineer had marked up with"2x6 MIN" before he would approve it. :sad2:

I think I know how that city council meeting went.

OK, so we all agree that we deserve a raise, but where will we come up with the extra revenue?

What is this "raise" you speak of? :confused3 :rotfl:

Attention DVCZERFS

There's a question for you in the THEME PARK FORUM

Maybe some pictures required???

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: Nicely done.

I'm really looking forward to this TR.

What he said.

On the baby front, we had an appointment last Wednesday. Doc says the kids are developing normally and everything's looking good. So last week at this time, Thing 1 was 2.81cm and Thing 2 was 2.76 (at just over 9 weeks). DW has finally started getting her energy back and wanting to be active, so I'm pretty happy about that.

Welcome back! Glad to hear everyone is doing well.

Morning Gents, I hope everyone has a great Hump Day.

For those looking for the rain or the sun, keep praying that it will come.

Um... look around. We've been hot for a while. :lmao::rotfl2:

I really think we should be comparing ourselves to the climate somewhere like Phoenix right now though. Orlando has some humidity. :rolleyes1

That is why I love living a half mile from my closest neighbor and where nobody can see what is going on in my backyard. :rolleyes1 :lmao::rotfl2:

I'm sorry, it doesn't apply to commoners who just labor for the taxpayers, but if you were elected you could probably give yourself one. :thumbsup2

Looks like the new BOG restaurant won't be taking reservations until late August, not today...

Looks like the new BOG restaurant won't be taking reservations until late August, not today...

Based on the post yesterday, I figured that today would really just be an announcement of some sort rather than the opening of ADR's. I'm glad they gave an approximate time that they'd start taking ADR's, but I kind of wish they had narrowed the window as to the opening date as well.

The menu items they listed sound really good. I feel hungry all of a sudden.
