Evening Guys....

Still trying to get all caught up at home here after being gone for a week.

We took a break this afternoon and went and saw Brave in 3D. Pretty cute flick. Although, my little DD's were a little scared at a couple of the more "surprising" parts.

Overall I'd give it a 3 out of 4 stars.

I'm sure I'll start hearing the request for a Merida dress and wig soon.

On a "good news" note....

After looking through our week's worth of mail when we got home. We finally received our long anticipated letter from the school we applied for DD4.75. She was accepted!! We're super excited as it's the same school that myself and DW went to.

So happy my DD will be a Pirate!

The way budget cuts are hitting the University may start farming us out to bring in extra $$$.

Hope the cruise went well and looking forward to the TR.

Cruise was fantastic...Shari tried to keep a journal so I will try to look at her notes and see what I can come up with..the last time I did a trip report I was not very good at updating and it was hijacked by pirates!

Got the deck pressure washed and only took it down about 1/4". My plan is to get it thin enough in a few years so it falls apart so I can rip it off without SWMBO complaining. I don't need 900+ sq ft of deck to maintain for the few times I get to use it and SWMBO has issues about being outside so she will never use it. Washed the back of the house and pressure washed the sidewalk, mowed the lawn, did 8 loads of laundry and plumbed in a utility sink. Good thing I have a job to go to so I can rest up.

But, you got to have fun with the pressure washer.

Thursday is my younger dd's birthday. She turns 8. Since she has 4 softball games next week, we are celebrating now. Today, DW took her and friend to Holiday World and then there is sleepover tonite. Ahhhhhh! Two giggly 8 year olds. Thankfully, I stocked up on alcohol yesterday. My mission today was to get birthday cookie cake. As it is softball season, I think this will suffice.

We got back from VA last night, but did not stay home long today we went to Sesame Place in PA to see Sid The Science Kid and Buddy from Dinosaur Train, it's back to work tomorrow

I can get use to going to different theme parks every week, I got to come up with a mass source of income where I can just take off whenever I feel like it (something that I'm the boss and have people working for me) , this will be my project that I hope to accomplish in the next few years

Had a bad day yesterday at work, kinda blew my cool. ( 5 or 6 times) Sure I'll hear about it Monday, although to my credit, it was not in view of customers, in the warehouse only. Didnt help that it was my last shift with my buddy-co-woker, she's now Full Time and in a new store, and she was the one to keep my grounded there. Gonna be a long-hot summer methinks.

Too quiet here tonight. DW and DD are camping. DS#2 on a sleepover. Just DS#1 and I tonight. Made his birthday cake and played way too much Lego Batman 2. A great night!

I'm down 11 pounds this month, but that birthday cake is very tempting... Gotta be at fighting weight for DDC!

happy birthday, DS! I know everyone's different, but letting myself enjoy a little treat here and there has worked for me. I survived several birthday cakes, cupcakes, and even buffets during the last few months. It's not falling off the wagon if you intentionally step off and hop right back on.

Let me tell you...everything you have heard about how great the Fantasy is true and then some!!!! We need to do a DisDads cruise!!!

What cruise are you doing? We have a 4 day on the Dream in March.

we are doing the 4 night Aug 1st. ours is an Itinerary B, Nassau, Day at Sea, Castaway Cay.

Does DCL do the same type of refund policy as wdw on rooms?

not sure what the refund policy is on rooms, but my brother had to drop out of our big family cruise coming up because he lost his job (none of us could afford to pay his way, otherwise we would have), and as long as he canceled by the 75 day before cruise mark (when balance is due), he got 100% refund. After that, it is prorated, less and less as you get closer to the cruise.

I'd like to be down another 30-40 pounds. So that when I gain 15 during the trip, it won't be too bad!

The great thing about hitting my goal early is I have another month to lose "bonus weight". If i end up gaining that back on vacation, I still win!!

DS is having his birthday party this afternoon...

His Birthday is in July, but he's having it today so his friends from school will be around, before summer vacation starts.
