Fall trip this year is out...who all has gone in springtime and when is the best time to go in spring?? Would like to be able to have warm enough weather to do the pools but not really fight the crowds a lot....suggestions???

From your other posts, looks like we're going different weeks. We will be in Florida March 23-30th next year. It'll be our yearly Daytona Beach trip with a day trip down to MK.

Oh well, we will meet up one of these days Steve!

Morning Dads!

Its finally Friday! I cant wait until the end of the workday!

Whats up with Aurora, CO?

Matt

They would pick Payton Manning with the #1 overall pick last year in their fantasy football draft.

Noting gets in your way of posting. Not even a trip to the water park.

I don't get over to the oth site often. I'll go check the home page, but then I forget to click on the boards.

Our Spring Break is always that first week in April. We have avoided the parks on Easter weeks because of the crowds. Currently, we have BWV booked for Spring Break in 2013, but are still debating if we should switch it to Vero Beach. We went two years ago that same week, when Easter was much later, during the Flower & Garden Festival. We had a great time, good weather to swim, and fairly low crowd levels. We also tend to avoid the parks on Saturday and Sunday, which gets higher crowds levels from the locals.

Skipping work is an excellent idea (as long don't get caught). I really didn't care for the first batman of this series, although I still think Katie Holmes is really hot, but I thought the Dark Knight was excellent. Heath Ledger as the Joker really made that movie.

That first comment just hurts :rotfl2:

Guy walked into a theater with a midnight showing of the Dark Knight Rising and open fired! 14 dead, 50 injured.

Sad world we live in. :sad1:

I vote yes. Treat yourself
With your support, I'll do it!
Just looked up the state lottery for tonight, I now have free dining on my next trip compliments of the lottery:worship:
Jeesh! How many times have you won?

I liked the second one better, but I liked the first one a lot too.

Aaannnddd now I'm not so psyched to see the movie. What a horrible story.

that's the best you got? I'm on Chris' team!

I'll let you all fight over it while I take my 10th of the money, buy me the condo I can afford, while depositing enough in multiple FDIC accounts to live for the rest of my life in case my mutual funds and municipal bonds don't give me the return I need.

What do I need? Enough for APs. Plan to eat TS and WDW 365 days a year. Hopefully, I'll be close enough that I won't need to drive to WDW and can just walk. Maybe a plane ticket to come back to KY once a year and the rest of the stuff we have already. my pin collection will grow quickly.

Yes! I have a team!

I'm with Norm. I don't need golden oaks. I'd settle for less

What the hell has happened to the world if we cant even go to see a movie safely!!! 12 people dead at a midnight showing of Dark Night Rises in Colorado. My support to those people who have lost friends and family. Some were as young as 6. That could have been my kid. Seriously..........

Yes, the Almighty and Powerful (and may I add speedy) Rafiki is correct :thumbsup2
I don't really have a comment for this. Just though it needed to be reposted in case someone missed it the first time.:thumbsup2

But what if I make fun of Canada somewhere in those pages? :confused3 Then will you read through???:confused3
Only 9 pages, so I read through them. You know, just in case someone made fun on Canada. They didn't, but there was some nice banter on Minnesota vs. Illinois vs. Indiana. You know what they all have in common? They all wish they were Wisconsin. :smokin:

I plan on using my curse on Erin Rodgers this year. You can take Brees. :lmao:
Erin? Really? Four words: "Christian Ponder, NFL" :lmao::rotfl: "Quarterback"
See, I couldn't even type all of that without busting out laughing.

Illuminations is helping Rafiki!
:thumbsup2

Dayv! (spelled in zerphonics)
Not quite. You capitalized the D.

Brian, making finial plans for next month, do you want to do Jedi Training on Tues or Weds Morning:confused3, up to you:thumbsup2
Yeah, just checked my schedule it is Tuesday Aug 21... Barry will be joining us as well.
I will be. The Force is strong with me. Especially if I have a breakfast burrito.

So true....Brrrrr.....who knew that in December the bottom would fall out of the temps and get cold :lmao:
Last time we were there in December, we watched Illuminations in sub-freezing temps. The DIS needs a shivering smiley.

Home from tournament with our first loss. 10 to 9. The other team played excellent defense, and since our tam had never played a close game all year, they really struggled with the pressure. They missed easy throws. My youngest did hit 2 runners home on sacrifice and caught a fly ball as catcher to end the inning. Really proud dad. She did miss one throw home. While it was a little short and hopped, she should have knocked it down. Still, an all around good game. We also hard to deal with rain delay during the game, which did not help.

Since it double elimination we play the winner from the loser bracket tomorrow, and if we win that game, then have to play the same team tonight Sat morning. If we win, we have to play then Sat afternoon for championship. Rain is predicted all weekend, off and on. It will be a long one.
Good luck Norm!

Terrible story.

Thanks. I'm to a double elimination fan. I'm ok with having a winners and losers bracket so that there can be more games for children, but we lost with the last two undefeated tournament teams, so I'm ready for it to be over,

Who's online right now. I need someone for a pm, it's important.

I'm here now.

That first comment just hurts :rotfl2:

Just too good to pass up.

Don't get me wrong, if I won the solo $100 Million lottery, then I would live in Golden Oaks. If I won $10 million, it may still be possible, but after you calculate for higher cost of living in tourist area and utilities for larger house, the big hits will be the taxes, house construction, and 50 years of annual dues.
