Happy Easter and good morning!

A special Welcome Home to Mr. Ryder Sommer :cool1::cool1:

We went duck pin bowling for the first time yesterday and it was a lot of fun. It still looks the way it did when it opened in the 1940's. A nice time with friends. We have skipped doing Easter with family because of the drama. My dads birthday is today and I will just call him. He would rather be with his sisters so he has someone to complain to about how bad life is :confused3

I feel sorry for those who get their joy from complaining about everything. I don't understand how you can not see the wonders of life around you :confused3

i agree with you dave!! i work with a few of those people. if there life is so bad, change it, do something about it. lifes to short not to smile. :thumbsup2

Newsflash! The Cubs blew another late lead yesterday. I'm beginning to realize that Kerry Wood is not 20 yrs old anymore. If only Fred Couples could win today. That would take away the stink of the Cubs for a little while.

Morning guys, and Happy Easter. :thumbsup2

An especially Happy Easter to Ryder, on his first day at home with his family!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

In the morning I'm going to try something new, I'm going to cook bacon on the grill, I can't stand it anymore when my wife cooks it in the kitchen, she has a nack of setting off the smoke alarms, it's not a good thing to wake up to:rotfl2:

Ron White did a joke about his wife using th smoke alarm as a kitchen timer. I like my bacon crispy, but not burnt.

Evening all!

The Easter festivities have begun for us! DDs hunted eggs today. DD5 gets a basket full of the regular sized ones filled with candy or money. The older two get only one egg each. Larger, but they were hidden especially well. :cool2:

The rest of Easter will be much different than usual since most of my side of the family took off on a cruise today. In addition, my FIL has been having problems with his back and is due for an MRI later this week. Hopefully, it will be a minor thing as he is going to be with us on our Disney trip in two weeks. This means more time with the in-laws and living on their schedule.

I should be headed to bed, but instead I am sitting here at the in-laws trying to figure out how to copy some DVDs to the IPad for DD5 to watch on the way to Disney in a couple of weeks. Can't seem to figure it out though.

I also realized that I haven't booked my work trip to Philly yet. I should probably do that before I head off to bed as well, but too difficult to find a decent hotel and I just don't have the energy tonight.

I'll try to figure it all out tomorrow. G'nite fellas! :cloud9:

Prayers for FIL. Hope the rest of the day is better with the Inlaws than mine.

Sounds fun.

I wish we could get there with the family visits. In my list of grievances yesterday, I forgot to write that BIL told DW that she has a lot of gray hair and is getting old. Oh, the family love. I just can't wait to spend more time with them today.

Exactly.

It could be worse as you could have Marmol as your ace closer in Fantasy baseball. Oh wait, that's me.

Welcome Home Ryder!

Happy Easter to everyone out there. Leaving in a bit. Bought DD a bunch of chocolate last night for Easter. Now that Lent is over I imagine that when she wakes up it is going to be a junk food feast.

Looks good. Haven't been to Fultons in a while. Usually eat at Raglin Road. Interested in your take on it. Depending on what is going on, ESPN may take some time to get in. I think it is worth it but DD doesn't.

I'm Baaaacckkk!

Happy Easter Gentlemen!

I'm not going to bother trying to catch up on the last however many pages that I missed from the past week. So welcome to any new Dads, and prayers to those that need them!

Still trying to recover and get acclimated to reality again.

We had an outstanding time and are definitely looking forward to going back. Can't wait until January!

Now for some morning coffee and toast before the big Easter Dinner at my parents' place!

:thumbsup2

Great Easter service at church this morning! Now we are off to make the 10 hour drive to Ohio. Please pray for us!

Well CJ, the fish looked good tonight. They were definitely able to hit the ball. Huge night for Omar Infante.

Didn't see the game but saw the highlights. Maybe that is the key, I don't watch them.

Man, I would love to be at a Tiki Bar right about now.

Rained pretty heavy last night and I fell asleep so no Tiki Bar last night.

Safe trip.

DD enjoyed the candy and went to the store to get chips. We were going out to dinner tonight but she decided to stay home. Thinking about making chicken piccata.

Easter Sunday ownage.

We both like seafood. DW likes crab while I prefer lobster. We usually go to Fulton's each year. As for ESPN, one of my favs. I enjoy the pitchers of beer.

I'm Baaaacckkk!

Happy Easter Gentlemen!
