It is a little bit of a story I have a 56" samsung TV that took a poop about 2 weeks ago i knew it was comming because it was giving me problems turning it on and off . This happend once before when i first bought the TV . so i thought it was going to cost me at least 200.00 to fix it . and Just Like Mickey he waves his wand and i got legal papers that there was a class action suit against them for a consistence problem with this model and i'm going to get my TV fixed for FREE woo hooo Man Cave back in action

I'm still in a state of shock that this thread is still going.... I mean, it's the middle of MARCH and yet it keeps going like the Energizer bunny. Good thing Aaron created the distraction board

Spring soccer season starts this week. Life is going to get busy again. DD has really been looking forward to playing and for the weather to start warming up. Have to say though.... not having a trip planned for next month is really killing me. Have to settle for Ohio trip next month and then Myrtle Beach in June. Oh... and Cedar Point in July. OK... I'll shut up now.

Hope I didn't miss anything over the last few days....

Sunday was DD Juliana's 6th birthday. Friday I was running around all day getting supplies for her 3 birthday parties this weekend. Worked Friday night. Her school friends party was Saturday afternoon at our house then I left for work in the late afternoon. Sunday am she had another party for all her non-school friends at a pottery place. Sunday afternoon we had our family here at the house till 7. By the time we were done cleaning the house it was almost 11pm.

Spent the day yesterday hanging out with the wife. It was over 70 degrees here! I hope everyone had a great weekend... just trying to get into the swing of things here...

Well - it's cancer.

Well at least the one spot is for sure. Basil Cell Carcinoma. The other spot is an atypical mole - but it was a moderate to severe one which have a tendency to lead to the bad stuff.

So yes, I'm 34 and have this crap already.

Thanks Mom! (she's definitely the one that gave me the genetics to be prone to it).



Prayers not needed - just something I'll have to keep my eye on for the rest of my life.

Fortunately, it's not the kind that spreads. Big Thumb----->

Hi Guys GM all
And before i go back to page 188 and play a weeks worth of catch up here is a tiny TR of My Chicago trip ,
we flew Southwest for the first time and no problems with the size because me and brother sat next to each other . on arrival met up with a disney friend we ate at Portillos for Italian beef and chicago dogs and we traded DVC pins it was a NY - chicago DVC pin . then a 2 1/2 hour drive to my neice
Overrall without details it was like a canival ride I got to eat at a few places ,
Machine shed for breakfest only , Sonic ,steak & shake , even ate at an Hyvee this is a supermarket that had decent chinesee food . and Giordanos ,
Village inn diner (waafles and chicken for the first time ) , and the diner my neice worked at . It was really nice to see my neice again and her husband and especialy the baby . I love my sister and brother but i think when all 3 of us are together without mom they treat me like garbage Because mom lives near me and i do everything for her so i think mom tells them this and they hate it so when they can give me the screws they do needless to say this trip But i promised my neice before i got there that i would not cause her day any harm by telling them off . so i can say there was at least 5-6 times i had to take a walk . but when it came to that magical day it was beatiful Both of them were Beatiful and while they were cutting the cake the baby just started to laugh it was soo cute . forgot to say the had it at The River Music Experience and it was amazing venue . Today im just recouping not doing nothing . too many days from day to night and i have to work thursday.

sounds like a good trip.

It's the tournament so anything can happen. However, I don't think Coach Cal will allow his team to lose to IU again. Having said that, my bracket shows the Hoosiers winning that game.

Funny. I have the opposite.

It just shows how we need to make each and every moment count with our friends and loved ones

As always, I am thankful for the DIS Dads and their friendship, camaraderie, prayers and laughter. As we continue life's journey together, ponder such mysteries as these:

We had SNOW. Not much, about a half inch here. A buddy of mine living 15 miles or so south had 3" by his estimate. As he is a truck driver, I will accept his judgement.
