Good Afternoon Gentlemen, I just wanted to stop in and share that my wife had our little bundle of joy last Monday March 5th at 8:17pm. His name is Zachary Christopher and was 9pounds 10 ounces and 21 1/4 inches long.

He is absolutely beautiful and a trooper. he spent the first days of his life getting poked and prodded in the level II nursery because he started out not being able to regulate his blood sugar. Everything is just fine for him now. Today at the old age of one week he got to have his first ultrasound and X-ray to check out a dimple on his rear end. Praying that everthing is all good and there are noe problem.

He is truely a joy and a gift from God Enjoy a few pictures, I have many more on facebook and will be adding more.

Congrats...

He is adorable.

You are very lucky and blessed.

Congrats again, James! Such as handsome little guy!

Sounds eerily like the death of Jim Fixx, father of the modern running craze. He died at 52 under similar circumstances from an undected heart defect. The assessment was that had he not be such an avid runner and in such good shape he would have died years earlier. The same may be true of your dad's cousin, or your cousin, once removed.
Ironically enough, his last name was Barnett, but Fix (1 x) blood is how we're related.

Congratulations!!! Great looking boy you have there. :thumbsup2

Good luck with the surprise! (you're certainly due for good luck!)

Maybe you could make the pie for Pi Day this Wednesday? :confused3

Good luck is still on hold...just found out I didn't get a promotion I interviewed for last week. Sigh. At least a good friend of mine got it.

But I LOVE the pie idea. If there's one thing this world needs, it's more pie.

Glad you enjoyed it! It would be fun, but I'm not sure we have the juice to get on there. Plus, neither of our wives have the aftermarket modifications that seem to be required of the women on that show (my DW adds, and never needed it either!)
I saw that part of the discussion too. It was cracking me up.

You probably would be disqualified under my scenario anyway, because you and your wife on opposing teams would probably still have a better relationship than every other couple competing together.

I don't know how they manage to find so many dysfunctional relationships.

I didn't like Joey "Fitness" since day 1, just because of his nickname, but he's becoming less annoying by comparison the longer the season goes.:lmao::rotfl2:

Andy, how is your DW doing with her pregnancy?

6 weeks to go...

Lots of heart burn, having some back pain, otherwise pretty good. She's still out and about and going to work. We're heading to Gatlinburg with her parents for a few days on the 25th, so hopefully it will stay that way for at least a couple more weeks.

Still planning on doing our cruise for our 20th in late 2013. However, SIL from he** has suggested she tag along. DW is way to polite to tell her NO. :headache: I think the fact ofher having to have her own room and be by herself may disuade her.

Anyway, we want to unwind at one of the resorts when we get off the boat but have not decided yet. Poly was initial choice, but there is a rumor it may be closed for refurb. May have to go to the old standby for us.....Caribbean Beach :thumbsup2

You mean former good friend.:mad:

Key Lime Pie of Awesomeness?

How the heck does that conversation go?
TheDuck: "Oh, I'm thinking about taking my wife on a romantic cruise to celebrate 20 years of marriage."
SIL from He**: "That sounds like soooo much fun! I'm going to come to! You don't mind if I bunk with you guys, do you?"

:confused3:confused3

Post her number here. I know 600+ guys that will call and tell her "No" for you. :thumbsup2

Can a friend remain your boss? Good question. I never had to deal with that.

Bravo to her. I would ask for pictures, but this is a gentleman's thread. Even though I've only watched a few minutes, I think you all would do great on the show.

They aren't moving you downstairs into the basement and taking your red stapler away are they?

If I could only hack into accounting .... No, the whole building is moving. The city wants to develop downtown area, at taxpayer expense, so in theory, I will have paid for a portion of my old office building with taxpayer money. However, I doubt they will let me move back in. Maybe I'll leave them a present before I leave. :scared1:

Congratulations. Another soon to be Disney addict is born.

To borrow one from the Reagan years, "Just say no". Oh, but that didn't work either, so nevermind. I was hoping to run into you on the Dream. Sorry you'll miss me. I guess that's a no on the DVC then, huh?

You still may have to deal with me that week, like a good nemesis the duck is there :thumbsup2

DVC is just a matter of finding the right contract.

James...congratulations on the new baby!! He is a handsome fella...look forward to seeing more pictures of him!!!:thumbsup2

Mark....Hoping that you and Julie get to have a nice time at the beach...you need to unwind and get away from things for a few days.

Happy Anniversary Stopher!!!:dance3:

Happy Birthday Christian!!

I am sure that I missed something...it is hard to keep up with all the goings on here and say employed at the same time!!:lmao: I am working on my bracket this evneing...I was disappointed that Marshall was left out of the big Dance but glad that we at least made the NIT for the first time since 1988!!:woohoo:

I am on call for the next few days so I will most likely be MIA from home. I realy hate that!!!

I posted on the FAcebook thread but will here also...Shari and I are going to put a little homemade disneycook book together for our cruise famliies for the fish extender gift exchange. (for those of you who have no idea what it is..outside each stateroom is a fish for the crew to leave you messages and a fish extender is something you make at home and hang from it. During the trip the families leave little gifts for each other) Anyway, long story short (too late I know) what are you favorite Disney Dishes that you would like to have the recipes too easily accesable??
