Morning guys. At the airport bright an early. Should be a fun couple days of work related travel. Hope everyone's off to a good start of the week.

We have cut our WDW park time down to 4 days, after talking about it with the wife, she would like to try a couple new places while we are down there, since we are pretty much finished with all the parks and rode everything a few times in 3 - 3 1/2 days:cool1:

So 2 places we want to try is Gatorland & Dinosaur World, and since both places close early will be doing Seaworld in the evening, :confused3

Well that sucks!

I only say "sucks" 'cause it sounds like you had a great day!

Hopefully it's all down hill from there... :lmao:

actually nemesis, that sounds like an awesome day... and I am quite jealous.

Well there you go....you had to go an jinx me didn't ya??

Last night - I ended up sleeping in my daughter's bed....Both of my girls had an "off" night and wound up in our room - kicking me out of bed.

Well atleast the day time was good!

Is that what you kids call it these days?

See the response above....thus, that is definitely not was I was talking about! :rotfl2:

Man, I am getting good at this...

See if I can change things up at the Nemesis house.

Listen up Scott's girls.

:wizard: My name is Twokids, and I declare you healed, filled with positive energy, and free off all nasty demon germs. :wizard:

:genie:

Now Scott, if tonight things "improve" ;) you will truly know that I DO CONTROL THE WORLD. You will learn to respect me as a nemesis, or be faced with 7 days of thunderstorms in 19+ days!

Don't you even put that thunderstorm hex on me Mr. "I control the universe"! :rotfl2:

Seriously though....I'm starting to think about planning for rain down there. Any of you Dads that shoot with DSLR's....what do you do in case of rain? I was trying to avoid taking my camera bag (I shoot with a walk-around lens).

I just don't want to get caught in a downpour with my pricey DSLR exposed!

I suppose under my poncho would be as good of a place as any. :confused3

Good morning guys.

Had a great afternoon of ice skating with my 2 of my kids yesterday. My eldest had homework, so he chose not to go, and DW wasn't feeling well, so she stayed home and took a nap instead. It was an event put on by our church's "NextGen Team" - all of the various pastors from the babies on up through the seniors in HS at a local ice skating rink. It was pretty fun. There were about 200 kids and 40-50 adults there. Most skated. It was a first time skate for both of my kids. DD was very nervous, but did alright. DS was not as nervous, but had a blast. He can't wait to go back! I hadn't skated in 11 years, but had a good time. I was nervous, not because I didn't know what I was doing (used to skate a lot as a youth), but just because it had been so long I didn't want to fall down and break anything! :rotfl: No falls. Nothing broken, so it was all good!! The last time I skated was when I took DW to the Ahwanhee Hotel in Yosemite for our 7th anniversary. They had a nice outdoor rink there... this one yesterday was indoors.

And speaking of that last time... today DW and I turn 18. It was a full weekend, and a full day ahead of us today - so we'll be going out to celebrate our day tomorrow for lunch instead. I'm currently planning our 20th, as we'll be going away for that one. Thinking a cruise, but I'm still investigating some options.

Well, I need to get some things done this morning. Just wanted to pop in and say hi :wave2: - happy Monday all! It's the start of another great week ahead. Make it the best you can!

We did Gatorland this past summer. It was an awesome time. Check out the Table of Contents at the bottom of post 1 in my latest TR for the write up.

Bad night for us, too. DS and DD up until after 10pm (usually asleep by 8-8:30). Plus Connecticut Mastery Tests this week. Grumpiness all around this am!

And Happy Birthday, Christian!

18 days for us to Disney HHI

Saw your FB pics yesterday. Looked fun. Happy Birthday. At least you can't forget DW's birthday.

I'm going to have a window of time where it's just me and DS (about 16 months old at the time) for a couple of hours at EPCOT (or at MK, but for less time, if we escort the women to their lunch date at GF). Still not sure what the two of us will do. I think we might just get a snack, find a bench, and I'll start teaching him the fine art of people-watching!
.

We let dds do the Alice tea party at GF one year. I thought of bench time and watching the girls at GF pool, but probably not DW approved. We walked down the fake beach over to the wedding pavilion. We didn't crash as no wedding going on, but did get to take some pics.

When dds are older, we will do Universal. We thought about doing Sea World the next time we stay at SSR.
