Just got back from Tampa and my brother's memorial service. It was sad but we also shared a lot of laughs. My other brother, sister and all her family along with Tony's daughter were there. Good to see everyone again. Some haven't seen DD since she was a little one.

Told my Niece that she now has me to take her father's place. So now I have two daughters, one 28 the other 18.

It's great that you were able to share some laughs during this trying time. And that's tremendous of you to look out for your niece, she'll def. need her family through this. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.

Glad you were able to get together with family, and have some laughs and shed some tears.

Also very cool of you to offer the Dad role to your niece. Although she is an adult, I am sure it secretly comforted her to know she has someone to look up to.

Prayers from Canada being sent to the whole family...

Steve, glad Ethan is feeling better. Also glad to hear everyone made it through the bad weather. Scary pictures.

Even better second half.

Missed the game but wasn't expecting much. Their top reserve is out for the season. They now have lost the last three games including to a mediocre Georgia team. They have played great at times but also put up real stinkers. Not going to a high seed and maybe one and done in the NCAA's.

I am glad you were able to honor your brother with laughter amidst the sadness. I am sure that your niece will be glad to have you filling that void in her life. My Mother In Law did that for her sisters daughters when she passed away. Here niece has had children since then and they refer to my Mother in Law as Nana since she is the only thing they will ever know in the role.

Got back about an hour ago from seeing the Lion King travelling show. It was the 1:00 show. If you do the math, you're thinking "Wow, that was a short production". No, it's just that we had tickets for the 6:30 show. My wife bought three tickets for me and my two older kids for my birthday (Hi, Randall!). Pretty embarrassing to go all the way downtown, pay for parking, ask someone to get out of your seats, and then realize that DW sent you to the wrong performance. I could sense several sets of eyes turning towards me when the usher said nice and loud, "These tickets are for the late show". :sad2:

Oops.

Aaaannnnddd there it is. Thanks. Turning 38 just got a little more tolerable.

Happy Birthday.

:thumbsup2 I've yet to establish any exercise into my day. The only thing i've managed to do is avoid junk food and cut out pepsi.

It's a start.

Seeing Crash after all those years was probably just what some of them needed.
Happy Birthday.
Thanks you sir!
Happy Birthday Chris. Funny story.

Thanks CJ. We just got back from the show. Much less eventful this time. I mean, a king was murdered by his jealous brother but other than that not much to report. It was much smoother the second time around since we already knew where the seats were.

As per my new goal of weight loss, I did have 13 straight days of exercise (30 min) but could not go yesterday as I was too sick. I managed to eat at or under 2000 calories each day with no alcohol. I have seen the results on scale and feel it in clothes. Now, the next obstacle. Not only am I sick, but I have to travel next week. Hopefully, I will get in the workouts and keep eating right.

I always find work travel kills sensible eating and exercise. It gets too tempting when the meal is covered.:yay:

I knew may of you here would enjoy this
