Hi guys

Hi guys![]()
I wonderif I could convince everyone that we need at least another day or two... hmmm ... it's not like I have to rush home to a job - I'll have my computer with me, and can do whatever I need to do in the mornings there while the family sleeps in... hmmm
I met Trnnr and his oldest boy a while ago at the Welcome Center....

Hi David! How is your wife?
Did you pull up behind him, turn on the lights, and scare him?
I keep telling her to take the Jeep, and she will when there's a lot of snow, but she'd rather have the van. School is only a few blocks away and since she changed jobs this summer she doesn't drive nearly as much and it's all in town. I could argue and make her take it, but it would probably end up with me getting whacked with a frying pan.
I go to see the pulmonary specialist on Tuesday and am supposed to get my machine then. C-PAP, V-PAP, E-PAP. I don't really know. I just know I am looking forward to not being tired from the moment I wake up and hopefully have energy to exercise and get healthy.
We have a trip to FL scheduled for the July 8-14. We are renting a house that is about 10 minutes from the mouse. Mostly a relaxing trip on the cheap. We will probably visit MK for 1 day and then do 1 other Disney related activity be it DTD or a meal at one of the resorts.
Our other trip is just DW and I going to an AI couples resort in October for our 10 year anniversary. Really looking forward to that one.
Evening nemesis![]()
Hey Mike - sometime we'll make sure it happens!
I think you might want to check out my FB page... or yours. I tagged you in a picture today that just might interest you...![]()
Hey Dave. Gotta go ref basketball tonite. Talk to you later.
WOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!
Thanks Stopher!!![]()
You need to let us know about this kind of thing sooner so that David can come and yell... Um...encouragement about how good of a job the ref is doing.
Heading down to Bedford tomorrow to watch the Lady Spartans play in the semi state. It's going to be a fun day, well get to watch our team play in the class A semi state and another Shelby county team play in the 2A semi state. Pretty exciting for a smaller community like ours to have 2 teams one game away from playing for a state title. Won't be easy, but if they play their game they can do it.
So I called SWMBO this AM to make sure she was up and getting the kids ready for school and the conversation started as "Do you know what your son did last night?"![]()
Seems like every time I leave town. One of these days he may learn right or wrong, it doesn't matter. If momma isn't happy, nobody is happy. I keep hoping he will learn to just keep his mouth shut but it hasn't happened yet.
Never a good way to start the day. On a positive note, I picked up some Tim-Bits before leaving OH.
Thank you Barry. You're not so bad to have as a nemesis.Sorry to hear about your loss, Tim. We'll keep your family is our prayers.
But no, it's not a bad thing that you feel that way. Death is a natural part of life and he finally got to be at peace and with his bride. You've already begun the process of celebrating his life by telling us about all of the good he has done while on this Earth. He sounds like an awesome man, and while he will be missed, he won't be forgotten.![]()
Thanks Steve.I am sorry for your loss Tim. I think that it is ok to not be overly sad. I have been in a situation like that myself. I am thankful that he did not have long suffering before he passed on. He has lived a very full life from what you have said and his reward in the next life awaited him! He earned it!
Thank you Chris.Sad to hear that Tim. My condolences.
Sounds like he lived a full life. Here's hoping we all make it to 96.
Chris
Thank you.Prayers and many thoughts to you and your family

Thanks Andy. We were going to do another picture around Christmas but it never happened. I wish I had that picture too.Tim, that's a great looking picture. That will mean a lot to Christopher one of these days. I'm sorry for your loss, but it sounds like he is in a better place with his other half.
Thank you Scott.Tim - so sorry for your loss. I too have the same view as you. To me, it's a new beginning to a happier life with those that have gone before us!
It has been a long day and haven't been able to look at the posts.
My brother is doing better. They put a cath in which drained a lot of fluid so he is over the renal failure issue for now. They have him on medication for the pain. Blood pressure is very low so they might admit him to the ICU to administer drugs that they only can do in that unit. It is still just a matter of time but at least he is more comfortable. Thanks again for your concern.
On the lacrosse front they got their behinds kicked. It was a double digit loss but at least they scored a goal. In the first 3 minutes of the game (50 minute game) they were down 6-0. It was after all the first lacrosse game for every kid on the team. The other team has played a few years and are supposed to be reasonably good. They settled down and actually only lost the second half 4-1. Moral victories.
The Lacrosse playing Pirate Princess played well. Started at Center Midfield. They are the ones that do the face off. Got killed on the first one but then held her own. She had lots of practice because of the scoring. I think her and the other Center Midfielder were the best players on the team. All in all they were happy with the progress they made as the game wore on. So was I.
Have to go pick her up at school in a bit. Will try to catch up later.
Have a great adults only trip and trip to WDW. As for the machines, you will look at different devices - some cover the nose and some cover the nose and mouth - so think about which you need and what you will wear when you sleep. Also, some of the machines (and depends on insurance) will offer a feature with a water attachment. It is an extra step to clean, but will prevent your nose from drying out.
