Of course now that a lot of members are only posting on the new site, it might take us a while to get to a new thread.:)

It is kind of nice to be able to go to lunch for an hour and not have to read through 15 pages to catch up though.:surfweb:

FIRST POST FOM MY NEW KINDLE FIRE!!

I dont know that there are a lot posting over there on the other site ..I think traffic has just slowed here...but I have not seen a jump in traffic over there

That's nice are you that wrong today the reason i say this is i was watching Pawn Stars and a guy wanted to sell his collection of Pez dispencers and he said they were origanally made in Austria ? so you really need to X that off the list lol :lmao:
They were made in Austria until the owner opened PEZ in Orange, CT in the 1970s. It still stands today.

Teds is in my home town... I recommend it.. I would put our pizzas up against most anyone's! Don't forget espn, seeing Chris Berman and those guys at the local dunkin donuts wearing dress shirts and shorts is pretty amusing.

It's so sparkly and pretty! :thumbsup2

As a fountain of useless information myself, I must say that nobody should know all the license plates for the various Wienermobiles.

Now having said that and seen the license plates, I will certainly be repeating this at some point in the future.
Wikipedia, my friend. There is a lot of useless crud cluttering up my brain, but the exact list was not one of them. Note I used the past tense "was" :rolleyes1

Louis' Lunch - where the hamburger sandwich was invented: http://www.louislunch.com/
I'm going to have to stop you right there, Chris. Seems several places claim to have invented the hamburger, including our own Seymour, Wisconsin.

Just talked to DW, she called to say she won $1000 today in some sort of online/radio contest today. Not the kind of windfall to get us to WDW, but enough to catch up on a few bills and breathe a lot easier.:thumbsup2
that's nice:thumbsup2
(Now why the heck would I say it like that? Tim's going to think I'm all  over him :sad2:)

Oh I am sure somewhere along the way DW will put that idea in their heads too. Does Aloha Isle do receptions?:lmao:
I'm going to have to look into that!:thumbsup2

Morning Dads!

It's going to be a great........
Nope, couldn't do it, this morning came way too early:surfweb:

Good morning dads! Between the holiday Monday, having to leave work early tuesday to pick up the girls (DW got caught in traffic, and you know how much it costs if you are late for the pick-up times?:scared1:) and yesterday off, I've worked a whopping 4 hours this week. :lmao: I think the boss'll make up for it in the next three days....later all...

Morning Dads.

Should be a good workday, only one meeting with a government official on the agenda.

Good morning! :surfweb: I thought for sure this thread would be closed by now. I still have a lot to catch up on. My kinesiology class has kept me busy for the last few days.

So, I was talking to my sister in law last nite, and she said "when you get back from San Diego, you and Phillip need to talk about the disney trip over Thanksgiving." :scared1:Now keep in mind, I have been asking (bothering) the wife for months about going this year. So, I call the wife up later and ask " Honey, have you and Phillip been talking about us all going to Disney over Thanksgiving?". Her reply: "Yeah, remember I told you about that". Now, I'm pretty sure I would remember someone telling me that we would be going to Disney over a holiday. So, I'm not quite ready to make a countdown banner but Im alot more excited about the rest of the year. :thumbsup2

No idea on what resort or anything, just that it will be the week of Thanksgiving.

Matt
Congratulations on the possible trip!

I can't believe you forgot that your DW told you about it before though. :rolleyes1:lmao:

I think the opening of the new forums over at disdads.com has helped with the slowing down here...although it doesn't go all that fast over there yet, either...

That was supposed to be kinesiology not sure what happened, iPad auto correct has a mind of its own sometimes.
Yeah I checked it out the other day, currently customizing my profile over there.

That's a good tune, but for some reason I woke up with Rhinestone Cowboy stuck in my head. Must mean it's going to be a great day!

Where you traveling too?

Another great song!

Heading to northern KY to teach about fruit and vegetable diseases. By the time the day is done it will be cheaper for me to cross the river and spend the night in our house in OH than get a hotel for the night up there.
