We need one of those at-home Dole Whip devices like my nemesis has...

that would be pretty sweet!

That was fun - except for the darn 40 second thing made it so we got all the way through the first chorus before I could post more...

oh well - you know that song!

So I've started working on our taxes - going as far as I can on my own just to see... before I turn it all over to our accountant. Should be interesting this time around, to say the least.

Did you use TurboTax? I think they make it pretty easy, and in most cases negate the need for an accountant.

Full disclosure, I'm a CPA, so my opinion might be a little biased... ;)

That's what we've used for years, and that's what I am starting with, yes.

Oops, now they've segued into My Favorite Things from the Sound of Music. .... ahhhh, DD now has the controls. :) But her big brother is being a good sport and hanging with her anyway.

Looking like SWMBO and DS are coming down with the flu. yeah.

Hey guys. We can't thank everyone enough for the prayers. The CT scan came back negative. No sign of strokes, tumors or bleeding. We still need to schedule the stress test with the cardiologist. Having said that, DW is really, really tired today. She stills has some numbness in her jaw and some pressure in her upper chest.

I appreciate the continued prayers. It is comforting to both of us to know that I have you guys to lean on :thumbsup2

Great news, David! Will continue to pray.

So has anyone been on the "Backstage Magic" Tour?

It's the one that Starts at EP...then to MK...Lunch at the WL...then onto HS...finishing at AK.

no i havnt, yet. :lmao: i have only done the keys to the kingdom (3 times :3dglasses) you will have to let me know how it was. im not much of an ak fan so that has been the only reason i havnt done it yet, but briana has been asking. just remember, was goes on behind the wall, stays behind the wall.:lmao: it really cool to see how things work at the mk. the funniest thing our one tour guide told us before we went behind the scenes and into the utilidors, "remember, the people you see get paid to smile and be nice to you in the park, dont be offened if you dont get a have a magicl day down here.":lmao: but it is cool.:thumbsup2

Any opinons on Artist Point? Never been, and thinking about trying it on our next trip in Sep. Is it worth a trip over to WL? We'll be at BLT so the boat is an option.

Whew you guys can run a thread. I'm gone for a few days and we're already in triple digits.

Can't believe I missed this one yesterday for you guys:

Yesterday in Geek History! In 1966, this guy was born: http://j.mp/wHJs5c

spoiler alert!!!!!
i hate to say but, there are people inside those costumes.:sad1: if your guide ask you what the cm code for "being mickey mouse" or "being pooh" today is, (the winner on our tour got a free plush) (i wasnt allowed to play :confused3)
they cm will say, "im close to mickey mouse today."
also, on all three tours, we seen woody and jessy.on one tour, woody was about a 6'3 with tattoos on his huge arms with a bandana around his head. jessy was a cute spanish girl with a bandana on her head.:lmao: they didnt smile. :lmao: theres alot more but ill let you have fun. we had all great guides. the best so far has been a guy named, say it like i spell it, akneebull!!!
great guy!!! every trip i still stop at the mk city hall to make sure he still works there and a few times got to say hello and talk. that guy knows more about the mk than roy disney.:lmao:

Now I'm trying to debate myself (not here - here I'm just sharing) and wondering if you were in my shoes (they're a size 11 1/2, so if that's not your size no need to reply :rotfl: ) - anyway - if you were in my shoes, and had to choose between 2 cool options to sample - which would you choose? 1 would get me close enough to tack on a Disney excursion, but the other is just so cool, steeped in history and definitely is on my bucket list... both are really. Not sure which I'm going to decide upon.

Paris to Normandy River Cruise

Nile River Cruise

Wrong shoe size but…

Paris to Normandy.

It’s got nothing to do with Disney. The unrest in the area would be the driving factor at this time. With the ruling Junta is starting to crack down more on the dissidents and arresting activist left and right, it’s just not a fate I particularly want to be testing at this moment. Where things more stable in Egypt right now, I’d reverse that answer.
