Hey guys. We can't thank everyone enough for the prayers. The CT scan came back negative. No sign of strokes, tumors or bleeding. We still need to schedule the stress test with the cardiologist. Having said that, DW is really, really tired today. She stills has some numbness in her jaw and some pressure in her upper chest.

I appreciate the continued prayers. It is comforting to both of us to know that I have you guys to lean on :thumbsup2

Keep the good news coming!:thumbsup2

Seeing the posts about the complaints, whines, rants, etc and I couldn't help but think that don't these people realize that these are just their opinions? They don't count for anything more than that? One man's thoughts are simply that and don't necessarily need to be broadcast to the world? Unless they are mine and then everyone needs to know them because I am the center of the universe.:thumbsup2

:thumbsup2

Awesome news David... you has us all concerned.

Any opinons on Artist Point? Never been, and thinking about trying it on our next trip in Sep. Is it worth a trip over to WL? We'll be at BLT so the boat is an option.

I had the pleasure of going once and I had one of the best steaks I have ever had.:cool1: I believe it was covered with Blue Cheese!

We need one of those at-home Dole Whip devices like my nemesis has...

that would be pretty sweet!

Your nemesis isprobably enjoying a dole Whip while your reading this.:rotfl:

roughly 27 days till my first dole whip... It better be worth it. :rolleyes1

3 days for me!:woohoo:

So has anyone been on the "Backstage Magic" Tour?

It's the one that Starts at EP...then to MK...Lunch at the WL...then onto HS...finishing at AK.

Nope - but to give a little plug to Aaron... I literally just finished listening to the DISDad podcast (17 I think) which was all about tours. With CJ and Chris (Doc).

Once again, another well done podcast.

And CJ and Chris had a lot of good stories about their tours.

CJ in the diving tank at Coral Reef - woulda love to have been there.

And Chris, telling about the AK tour, definitley on my bucket list, when the kids get older, or the wife and I do a no kids trip.

Good job guys!!! :thumbsup2

Wow, that was fun.
Nice job, Norm. :thumbsup2

Yes. Yes it is.

Barry - that was quite the update to your TR! WOW. The Line of Death. Gracious. I could totally see that. Loved Bambi's stance too in the family photo so close to that line. Not something I would have done, but hey, you definitely made memories for the kids!! :rotfl:
It was a fun time. I'd do it again!

Paris to Normandy River Cruise

Nile River Cruise
It's close, but I'd take Paris to Normandy. In addition to Rob's reasoning about the instability in Egypt, the ability to add a few days at DLP is intriguing. But more-so than that would be the history around Normandy. Yes, Egypt has history to - probably a wee bit more of it - but the recent history around Normandy is much more tangible to us. It is intertwined with (use your best Tom Brokaw voice here) The Greatest Generation.

Barry.... you have a brave family - facing those dang Gators. :thumbsup2
Facing them was easy. Turning around was the hard part. ;)

Is there some way to see the number of posts by each person on a thread or are they going through and counting all the posts? :confused3h
Ownage!!!

If you look at the list of threads on our forum’s main page, you’ll see where the number of replies to each thread is underlined. Click on that number and it will open up another window that will list all the folks that have replied and their total number of replies to that thread.

Mixed. The ambiance is terrific. Probably one of the best themed signature restaurants. The boat ride over is a lot of fun, and probably romantic at night without children. Ours were there, so nix that. I found the time between courses a little longer than other signatures, but there were fewer children there than some of the others. As for the food, the mussels were excellent. Probably the best I've had. The buffalo sirloin was cooked well but not seasoned or really flavorful. I think their salmon dish is supposed to be signature menu item, but we didn't try it.

It's not at the top of my signature list, but worth a return trip, especially at BLT.

Did you use TurboTax? I think they make it pretty easy, and in most cases negate the need for an accountant.

Full disclosure, I'm a CPA, so my opinion might be a little biased... ;)

I've used turbo tax for years. Do you recommend buying the additional audit protection offered?

I have no idea. :lmao:

Say What?!?

See. You stopped posting long enough for me to catch up.

Nice job, Norm. :thumbsup2 ;)

Thanks Barry. No one else offered any comments. i tried to expand upon the most outlandish reasonings I have read here.

What a fun idea.

Disney is allowed to enforce a policy they used not to enforce? Will my FP from 2 years ago still be allowed?

Now, I purchased my refillable mug back in 2000 on my honeymoon and no where on it says that my refills were limited to that year. Besides, I'm still thirsty. I just paid $20 million to get to Disney this vacation and I'm not paying 1 penny more for a coke.

Really. How dare there be people in line for TSM. It's not that popular of a ride. We drove 10,000,000 miles to WDW only to stand in line to wait in line for 7 hours. Not fair. I want my whole trip refunded, including gas money and new shoes for standing 7 hours.

Hey, I'm on vacation. And, while I can go swim in my pool, how dare you say that I can't get on my swimsuit, and my whole family get on there's, pack up all our inflatables, cooler of food and drink, and then get on a bus to ride to a TP for 30 minutes, get on another bus to ride to a resort for 30 minutes, and swim in the pool. By the way, the water in this resort's swimming pool has magical healing powers. Of course I should be allowed to pool hop.

My children are in public school and this is a free country. You are not allowed to take your children out of public school in a free country that my tax dollars pay for. I haven't worked in a decade, (cousin Eddie - holding out for management position), but the tax money I would have paid prohibits you from taking your children out of school early.

What? I make ADR(s) at 6 months out for every character breakfast at WDW for my family of 4. We aren't sure where we want to eat and need to wait 1 day before we make that decision. It's not like other people want to make ADRs, the parks have to be empty when I'm there.

Don't get me started on illegal immigration. They should never be allowed in the parks. And, how do that many people all find matching t-shirts at the Wal-mart? They should be banned. I paid more for my tickets than they did.

And, since I'm on a roll .... You can't post this here. It can only go on the DISdad rant thread. You are violating Dis, Federal, State, International and Brian's Universe law. No FPs for you on the next trip.

Wow, that was fun.

Rocky Mountain oysters are bull balls.

Lamb fries are sheep balls.

I have not tried either.

I would post more often, but half the time I can't get the page to load! Whats the deal?

The other half, I just can't keep up!

Home from the daddy/daughter dance. This was the first time I tried with both at the same time. We ate at home as they voted to skip the spaghetti supper offered. I bought them a couple books from book fair, took some pictures at the saddle and hay photo area, and it was a live cake auction. I let my dds bid on some cakes to a certain point, then had to wrestle the number slip out of their hand as they had no limit. They had a "live DJ" who did a great job of reading out UK basketball scores. I thought of Tim when he played Cotton Eye Joe, Cuban Shuffle, and of course, the chicken dance.
