I would like to fly...but flights from Canada are double. We may fly from Buffalo, or we may drive.

We only have a week (maybe a day or two on either side of the weekends), so driving becomes a chore. As well, my wife does not drive, so it is 24 hours of me behind a wheel trying to avoid FED.

if you drive again, let me know. maybe we can meet up for a handshake.

So I got a question for those in the know about In-n-Out burger. I was in San Fran a couple of months ago and I had my first experience with In n Out. After all the talk about it I was somewhat disappointed. I will admit that after I got home I realized there there were a number of "off menu" options that I was not aware of. Don't get me wrong it's a definite step up from McDs, BK and the like of other fast food burger joints, but given my choice I'll take Five Guys over In-n-Out every time.

Anyone care to explain their love of In-n-Out as I'm sure there is something I'm missing.

Well I grew up with In-N-Out - and Five Guys... ugh. I don't care for them.

There are several things about INO - first everything is fresh, never frozen. That's a big, big one for me.

Next time you go west - give it another try - and go Animal Style. Mmmmm.

It's kind of like anyone who grew up with something though... it's just IT - no matter what someone else thinks. They definitely have a "grip" on the California market place though.

doc, no really, i waited for him at the florida welcoming center.
he did pass me like was standing still when we pulled out. that charger has more in it than my minivan fully loaded.

RodBelding and I's meet before the Marathon. Yup a meetup before 4am and you have to run 26 miles as soon as it's done. This is what happens when you let your nemesis plan the meetup.

i just had to give it up after the june trip. for some reason it wasnt as long as it use to be. it shrunk in my suit case.

OR - we could revise that proposed rule to a better one, like this: Last to post loses, and has to buy a Dole Whip and an Itzakadoozie for the Dad who has secured the highest number of individual threads with the most posts in said threads.

Unfortunately the just announced that they got rid of Itsakadoozies

I used to never wear it to work in my "other" life - but lately it's become a work shirt for me.

i have a wdw wardrobe that i dont wear other than in wdw.
thats why you will see pics of me with the same shirts from trip to trip. i only wear them while im at wdw.

Took the kids ice skating tonight - I didn't go, I just drove them

It was for the Girl Guides, they had a public skating night.

So after they were finished, I went and picked then u, I carried the skate bag, and as we were walking back the car, I tripped on a slippery patch of ice / mud, and fell and twisted my wrist, my knee, and anything else that could get twisted.

So for not even lacing up skates, I am the only one to come home with injuries.

Just sad!

Aren't Canadians taught to walk on ice before they get to walk on dry land???

Five Guys is AWESOME.

They just opened up here...

I've had the Double-Double Animal Style a few times when on the left coast but Five Guy's is like Cheeseburger Crack.

It happens to the best of us and in a lot of ways it's pretty great. My goal is to be the kind of man my son can be proud to turn into someday.




The big ole bag of fries doesn't hurt either.

I'll agree with you. I much prefer 5 Guys to In-n-Out. For me, I think it's because In-n-Out relies on mustard for it's predominant flavor note. I very much dislike (bordering on hate) mustard.
