Our school system actually builds in snow days so that they don't have to make them up as long as there are less than five. This year, we didn't use enough, so to make sure that they can continue to add the built in snow days each year, they called a "snow day" for this past Monday. It wasn't perfect weather, but in the 60s. Worked out for us though since it gave the DDs an extra day to get caught up after our trip.

What do you mean? It can snow in Wisconsin if it's 60 out.
Although yesterday we felt the opposite effect - it went from 50 to 70 in about half an hour yesterday afternoon

My neighbor wants me to run with him. But I don't have an hour from 6-7 every night like he does.

You can check out the Barry vs Tim challenge on the subforum. There are a few of us trying to list weight on here, including me. I hurt my back again, so I have not done anything the last month. And, just after I got the good habit going.

Yeah, we add some days as well. It was nice having 4 days off in February (Friday & Monday). But, what most don't realize is that KY still has gravel and dirt roads in parts where buses can't go. So, school is cancelled frequently for threat of snow.

That made my morning so much more bearable.

They do tend to throw a great party. The best wedding receptions I ever worked were almost always Catholic in persuasion. The folks in the band and the servers were seen as part of the party rather then as just the help (and since we were among the last to leave, we got to help empty out any unfinished kegs).

DW was telling me about that yesterday. I’ll need to see more details. If it’s just a variation on what they’ve been doing with the Narnia & Caspian films but just inserting the character and scenery for Jack…

Then I’ll be skipping that one.

They certainly need something else in that spot though.
