Since ChrisBrad joined us I've been thinking that it's time to open the club to all Disney Loving Men, whether they have kids or not. I think we should give our brother men a safe haven from the terror of the other threads. So, what say ye Dads? Can I get a Manlaw?

Kind of what i was thinking. I talked with Robo a while back to see if he wanted to join, he had no kids. But he did have a nephew.

That's where you find a weekend getaway for just you and the wife to throw in somewhere down the line. An anniversary maybe? Find some cheap airfare and voila. Cuts down on the total savings, but still, it helps to "justify" that AP purchase. - OR - you just bite the bullet and enjoy the savings, even though you know you won't be back before they expire.

just paid my dvc dues this morning. $1993.
add that plus my orig. investment it comes to $2800.00 per year.
with that i get 2 trips per year a total of 20 nights per year.
its never to late to start, the prices of rooms only keeps going up.

Last years tally for my DD16 sweet 16.. $23486.30
Probably enough to buy BLT DVC 2bd suite for 1 week

Between you, me and the disdad board, I would love to have all three in a day. I have a neighbor with a set of triplet boys. They are the best (right now)... Now, if I were the one birthing that brood, I'd stop at zero, let's be honest!!!!

thats just about what i paid for my points back in 1999. the way we looked at it, the points in 1999, per point, were almost as much as one night in a value resort. thats still holds about true. the price of rooms keep going up but my point value stay the same as it was in 1999.
