I think I may have stumbled into my favorite disboard forum....

Have lurked for years on the main trip and planning forums, but never made my way in here until very recently... Lots of laughs so far.

And I am sure I meet at the criteria to fit in!

We were just talking not too long ago about the fact that there are lots of guy out there who have no children of their own, but who probably ought to be considered DISDads, because they fill that role for younger relatives. Glad to have you aboard. We're in the process of taking over the internets - we have a Facebook group, our own website at http://disdads.com, and a podcast too!

Well, I do like to think of myself as an entertaining guy... And I have already learned that if the topic gets too heated I just need to do the disboard equivalent of screaming "FIRE" in a crowded theater --- bring up the end of fastpass return grace periods!

And you do have the "right" name to be on here... can't speak for many of the others on here who aren't a Chris/topher or some other variant of this most excellent, awesome, awe-inspiring and phenomenally cool names - but there are tons of us whose name starts with the 3rd (and best) letter of the alphabet, followed by h, r, i, s and then some others.

Oh yeah... don't do that kind of stuff in here. Keep it on the other threads. Here just bring up bacon, or farts, or kids, your next vacation, squirrles, or simply anything else to divert our attention, and any kind of heated nonsense goes away. Quickly. Just don't call me Shirley. Because it looks like it might be I picked the wrong day to quit drinking.

Not that we really get heated in here. We like to keep this place light, and fun - keep the heated nonsense in the other threads. Even though there have been a few times in different volumes of this ongoing masterpiece of a thread where we've displayed passion about one topic or another - when we do, it just tends to create new ManLaws, and boost the overall camaraderie. You folla? (Movie quotes fill many a day around here too).

So yeah - laid back is pretty much a great way to describe us around here.
