Okay guys, is it a good thing or a bad thing if my DD wants me to read from my trip report every night (mind you it is not a very long TR yet)?

One thing is for sure....it puts her right to sleep within minutes. Lights out!!!!

If it lets her relive the experience… it’s a good thing.
If it gets her to sleep… then it’s a good thing for you as well.

Oddly, my DS likes to here what I’m writing in mine as well, but being a teenager…
nothing puts him to sleep (other then being in a classroom that is)

This will probably get lost, but just in case, I started a new convention thread to get better numbers

Time to refine our numbers a bit. I'm going to repost the poll with just "Yes", "No" or "Maybe" for January 2013.

Aaron is keeping his eyes peeled for the rates being released and then we can refine a date.

It will likely NOT be MLK weekend.

Hmm...I wonder if it's too early to start dropping hints to DW that a surprise trip to WDW for my 40th birthday would be beneficial to her as well, as I would be more likely to plan a surprise Halloween trip there for hers....

I think everyone should get their own thread and see whose gets closed first. Then we can use the main thread for posting important things like bacon and squirrels.

And to top it off, what's better than owning a page in the ddc thread when you could own your very own thread...or a page in your nemesis' thread.

Plus would be fun to have your DisDad profile on your very own front page! And a good place to pad your post count and leave / get messages....

Just a thought...feel free to ignore or lose in 5 pages...

Ahhh....the big 1000th post speech.

First, I'd like to thank God, through Him all things are possible. I'd like to thank my DW for putting up with my DisDad's madness. My children for being so darn cute....

In all seriousness...you guys are great. It's amazing how friendships can be built through text and a common interest. Never did I think I'd find so many guys that have the same passion I do, and at the same level.
