Took the family out this afternoon to see Tin Tin. That was a lot of fun. It’s kind of a cross between “Raiders of the Lost Ark”, “The Bourne Identity” and an adventure comic book that’s been set into motion. It made me think of (for those of you old enough to remember such) a movie length episode of “Jonny Quest”, but on some serious steroids (and unimaginably better animation). An adventure story wrapped around a mystery; two of my favorite types of film entertainment.

I wont resort to that....that whole "occupy" business is ridiculous! Or at least here it is!!

Right to assemble? Right to free speech? Taxation without representation? Those were all proud concepts our country used to honor. Now, we use tax money to bail out the banks, while the banks foreclose on the people they gave money too. Now, our government representatives are just looking for the next insider trading deal they are immune from prosecution from.

Brilliant. I dig the Akbar Trap humor.

I am saying the same about my steelers

Looks like they're coming back. Just need to stop before the cover the spread.

I am completely embarrassed by how Atlanta played today.

on top of that, we're taking down the christmas decorations. How much more depressing can this day get? :confused3 :rotfl2:

You're from New York and embarrasses for the falcons?

The previews did look really good. My dds didn't express much interest. They want to see the new Chipmunks movie.

Just got back from The Bug's first basketball game of the season (really a scrimmage with the other 3rd/4th grade team at the JCC). Her team won 14-8, and The Bug scored 6 points (and had a nice assist on a dump down pass into the lane). She's been struggling with her VCD all day, and I'm most proud of how she worked through that and hustled the whole game.

WOW! Denver goes on. Should not have even gotten there but a great way to win a playoff game. Did I tell you Tebow is a Florida Gator.

Hey all, you guys have been buys. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

I just got finished cleaning up from the birthday party. Was nice to have a family gathering only this year. Next year should be chock full of friends and stuff at some pizza giving bouncy house or something or other place. Lot's of extra food if anyone wants any ziti...

The party was Cars theme which went pretty well with all the gifts that he got. I would say that overall he ended up over 50 additional wheels this weekend.... The coolest I must say is the Ricochet RC car. Doing donuts in the living room was priceless. I'm exhausted... can't believe I have to work tomorrow, why couldn't he have be born MLK weekend?

I think I stayed on top of some of the posts, but I'm definitely lost with how fast this place is moving... so here's some parting thoughts :)

Different kids… different interests… Different priorities…

Actually, it was me that wanted to go out to a movie, which is rare. We usually only go out to see a film about two or three times a year. Most of them just don’t catch my interest.

But…

While we were there I saw two previews that may be interesting: “Men In Black III” (which I may need to see on a big screen), and “Red Tail” about the Tuskegee Airmen (which if I don’t see out, I’ll likely rent).

Another interesting preview was for a movie version of Dr Souss’s “The Lorax” (with Danny DeVito doing the voicing). The story appears to be more based on the original book then follow it, but it might be interesting for those with kids in the elementary school range and the young at heart.

On a pass play. Maybe Elway will let him play next year.

i all most missed it!!!! i went to the bathroom and just caught him bringing his arm back to throw it. i almost fell off the bed.
it going to be a fun day at work tomorrow. three guys sit side by side, the middle guy is a steeler fan the other two are eagle fans. all the ribbing.:lmao:

We don't see movies without the kids at the theatres. I like the Marvel comic movies, but I just wait for them to arrive at the red box. That is one area I am just too cheap. Men in Black III sounds good.

Crown Royal is Liquid Yum... :thumbsup2
