Do you like it?
Eh, it's okay. I'm not a bag person. I would rather put my park tix, ID and phone in my pocket, and then just carry my camera. But with Bob.........he's the backpack man! :thumbsup2

Good morning, DDA! TGIF!!!!!!

Deb - good luck with the exterminator! I hope he gets them all. Those larvae...

Yay for all the last days of school!

Kristine - glad to hear all is well onboard the Wonder! I know we had a great time in December on the Dolphin Encounter (we ended up upgrading to the Swim once we got to Blue Lagoon) - I hope you have a similar experience!

Tammi - enjoy all your vacation time - wow!

Marci - good luck with the haircuts - finding new people can be so stressful for that. I hope Andrew's games go well tomorrow!

Elizabeth - yep - no food on American in coach flying domestically. (Even though a flight to Hawaii is just as long as flying to London.) I have no idea if coach gets food on international flights, but I would imagine so. We could have bought food from them, but I'm not giving them another dime! We brought/bought food at the airport to eat on the plane. Needless to say, I was thrilled to get a survey via e-mail from American re: my flights yesterday - I'm sure they won't be thrilled with their results! ;)

I hope Princess continues to excel in the potty-training dept. today!

Have good days, DDA! :goodvibes

Thanks! I do like carrying a few extra things to the parks :thumbsup2

I have spent the better part of the morning figuring out where we are going to stop for a night for the drive in August.

Going from NYC to Orlando we are stopping in Savannah GA. We have made it there twice before so I know we can do it. I am just too old to drive straight thru anymore!:rotfl2:

Coming back home I am looking at Fayetteville NC or Rocky Mount NC.

We have marriott points from Dana's business travel so the hotel is free thankfully!

Deb - you have bug problems, I have mold problems. I have someone coming on Monday to give us an estimate on the damage, which I know is going to be huge. Because the humidity that hit so early this year the mold has really popped in our basement to the point where it's causing my friend who lives with us is getting sick. She's staying at another friends for now. This should be fun. :headache:

Hope they can clear it up & it won't be too costly.

You could stop in Fredericksburg if you need a lunch or dinner! ;) We are 5 miles from I95.

I would love to. I don't think we can make it all the way to VA from FL in one day but maybe we can stop by!!! ::yes::

ETA: I just looked & it would be 662 miles to VA from Orlando....Hmmmm!!! Assuming 60 miles per hour that would be 11 hours driving which is very doable...I am going to check out marriott there too Tammi.

Chanon - Hope your mold can be cleared up without costing a bundle! :wizard:

Tammi - Yay for summer!

Princess has used her potty 3.5 times today! She used the potty, then 25 minutes later she said she had to go again and her diaper was soaked! She did have a tiny bit left that she managed to put in the potty so she gets half credit. ;) Not bad though, for just the second day!

Janet - I don't have my August schedule with me but I *THINK* we are at Epcot on the 8th. I have mini golf as a possibility that evening, too, if I am remembering correctly. We're having dinner at Yachtsman then I figured we can run across the street from the Swan to mini golf. I keep checking the AP site to see if it is down, but the stupid thing is working just fine. It usually won't work when they are loading new rates in. :rotfl:

Tammi,

Oops, I just did a mapquest & I got...

Total Estimated Time: 13.0 hours 11 minutes Total Estimated Distance: 848.85 miles

I was hoping to drive 10 hours each day but thats still doable, and we'd get the bulk of the driving over with the 1st day.

I am happy that we are driving since there is such uphevel with the airlines but then again not so happy thinking of 20 hours in a car with my loud kids & tired DH!:lmao:

No idea why I'm getting something different but AAA.com is saying 16 hours for you guys from NYC to MCO.

ETA: That's to Tammi's. Nevermind! :teeth:

Not sure, our best time ever driving was 17 hours with the bulk at night with no traffic. Also we have about another hour from the city to my house.

I answered too soon..ok so you have 16 hrs to Tammi's? :faint:
